so there are a lot of different things being said about Ambles right now...I don't know what to believe but here is what I found on other forums

UNC believes he is going there, but not all are sure only source listed is govolsxtra

This was posted on an Auburn site...You have to pay for it, but it says that Auburn or UNC is where he is going to visit in the title Aubrun
This Auburn forum mentions Texas Tech I have found nothing to support this free auburn forum


Bama talks make them sound like they think he is going to be USC bound, but they would love to have him.

according to rivals, espn, and scout he has not decommitted from Tennessee either. He is still wanting to take 2 official visits before announcing.

Someone said early he was going to announce at 1 today. I have no idea where you heard that from but I have found nothing to support that.

I really want this kid and I think he will help us incredibly. As long as he isn't on another campus the quicker he commits/recommits/reaffirms Tennessee the better it is for us

i know, but the OP was acting as iff we would retain him simply to keep ambles committed. that doesnt happen.

lol @ going to UNC

I hope he and Willis enjoy playing football at a basketball school...and lately it looks like they're not very good at that either.

If he's actually thinking of going to UNC right now, once the dust clears, he'll be a vol again imo

Look, Butch Davis isn't staying at UNC long term. He'll leave once he gets another good offer in the NFL or another top college gig and UNC will be back to irrelevent on the football field.

But at the end of the day, kids who don't WANT to be vols can decommit and go somewhere else afaic. We'll be just fine. We're still UT.

But like I said before, Ambles will most likely be a vol on NSD.

Im looking at Rivals and it still has Ambles and Dixon commited..Not sure where everyone is seeing that these two have DEcommited

Ambles is being reported to be in Chapel Hill this weekend but has said he will visit UT again and talk with the new coach. Apparantly the reason he did not come this weekend is because no coach was hired yet so he postponed the trip until one was in place.

and you know this how?? we lost wilson, kiffin, and now kippy. if markeith stays, i will officially jump on the dooley train.

It probably comes down to that and what Ambles thinks of Dooley. Someone posted in another thread that Ambles cancelled his OV to UT this weekend because he didn't want to visit when UT didn't have a coach in place. I think he's still planning a visit, so there's still hope IMO.

Since LT is a defesnive coach, not sure I am following.

The two did work together before and have remained friends according to what I have read. Do not see why he would leave.
