I know where Ambles won't be going and thats USC. Kiffin and O really showed their colors on this. I think a lot of guys liked Kiffin but they also liked the UNIVERSITY believe it or not. Their were probably many that were not commited or maybe even decomitted due to the lack of their parents support for sending their kids with Lane. Dooley needs to get some in homes this week and see if he can earn some trust. Odd thing recruiting, you just never know.

Because this is the University of Tennessee. A premier SEC program . Early playing time and Dooley may be the next Dominant Coach. Life is about chances.

Guys my post was more of and opinion and what i think; i beleive since Lance Thompson recruited him and is the one who really talked to him the most that we can keep him. He is mostlikely looking at other schools because of the shaky situation.

Ambles dad said that all he knew about Dooley was that his daddy coached forever at UGA... being from Georgia, that might make things a little better. I'm leaning towards him leaving, but if we turn this around, this class will be seen as heroes... maybe he'll think about that.

Thought I read somewhere that his momma or grandmomma told the press he wasnt taking any visits this weekend.

According to TOS, there is an NCAA rule for staff changes that says if the outgoing staff took 75% of the visits that we're allotted, the NCAA will provide a bonus number of visits (looks like 12) for the new staff coming in.

We were a few shy of 75% before this weekend and so with the guys coming in they apparently only allowed them to meet directly with members of the outgoing staff, Cregg and Reaves and maybe just other members of the UT athletic department. I don't know how this meshes with what actually happened with people they met with, but it's what is being rumored.

So Markeith was asked to come back in a couple of weeks so he can meet with Dooley.

Ambles visiting UNC is a joke. If you want to waste a college football career he should go to Chapel Hill.

Hopefully, the combination of the following plays a role in us keeping him: his primary recruiter's retention; our 'offensive coordinator' being retained; his love for UT prior to 'he who shall remain nameless' leaving.

Huge news! will go a long way towards instilling confidence of the other previous commits in the coach and the program. also it tells the other recruits that players are committing to UT and not the kiffin cowards.

It seems as though Kiffin and Co. just burnt their last bridge in the South, and from here on out it will be slim to none that they pull anyone from east of the Mississippi. JMO
