The staff is zeroing in on Heaps and Scroggins...one or both. Newton would likely be targeted as the short term/quick fix, and will likely be No.1 among the 2 or 3.
Hendrix, is more of a Plan B type. I doubt his heart is in it for football at this level if his plans are pre-med school. That's demanding enough without the rigors of SEC football added into the mix. Hendrix is no more heralded than Stephens.
Are you going to still post after Sept. 19 under this name, or will you update it? I am just wondering, as it will quickly fade into irrelevance after that game no matter the outcome.
That's a good question. To be honest, I don't know the answer to that.
I only got here in the first place because of interest aroused by CLK's comments. Now that I'm here, I see a pretty vital group of recruitniks. Your free board is better than ours.
We'll see.

no basis for that. you're just projecting your own desires.
Sorry if this has been posted before, but according to this article CLK has offered him. Rumor: Cam Newton to Transfer to Tennessee? | Gator Tailgating
If Newton does go to Tennessee, he would compete with Senior Jonathan Crompton for the starting QB job. At 6 6, and 250lbs, getting Newton would be a coup for Lane Kiffin and Tennessee, as the Tennessee program has had questions at QB for years. Newton would bring toughness and skill to their team, which is missing because of lackluster recruiting by former Tennessee head coach Phil Fulmer.
Interesting Poll to the right of the Newton Article on Florida fan site. Even though they keep beating us, UT's still the biggest rival? :boxing2:

There's something special about a beast like this with a chip on his shoulder against Florida who needs little time to be ready to play in 2010.
