Kid looks pretty good. You have to wonder about the level of competion he played agaist though. He could turn out to be a solid player for us. Hopefully he has good hands. I didn't see alot of passes in the video. Probably will redshirt beef up a little hopefully not lose any speed.

The coaches had him at camp and evaluated him in THEIR drills... that is all I need to hear.

As a junior at Breathitt County High School he rushed for 3,052 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Jesus. Those stats can't be right, can they? They were in the last paragraph of the VQ article. 3,000 yards rushing and 36 TDs in one season?

Kind of reminds me of the Hillard kid at LSU. Big fast white kid with pure guts and just will not be beat on the field.

just throwing this out there, but does anyone think that monte might have just found his middle linebacker of the future? i think this kid would be good as a fullback but with his size and speed i feel like he would be incredible on the other side of the ball.

You think TN has low Talent of Football, come to KY.

However the few that have went on to Play College ball in Big Confrences have done well.

Hunter Cantwell (Who I did pickoff as Sophmore)
Micah Johnson (BEAST)
George Wilson (Great Story)

Also, check out my buddy.

No ranking per Rivals, if I can find some highlight videos, it is just SICK.
However since we were 5A, and his size he didn't get any big time looks. He has a letter from Fulmer hanging up in his room, or did.
He is basically a white Nu'keese, minus the speed.

If his last name is pronounced like I think it is, you could think up a nickname having to do with the latin word Fugit (meaning "flies").

Tempus Fugit (Time Flies) could easily become Tempus Fugate.

Just trying to think of something original.

Something having to do with stopping time because that's how he will block? Maybe...

al wilson was a running back, jason whitten was a de. what's your point?

post count/total thats the point.
actually there rarely is a point, when you see someone make two posts within a minute of each other that are both one sentence.

According to the Kentucky High School Athletics site, Fugate rushed for 35 TD's, 2919 yards in 261 attempts, averaging 11.1 ypc, caught 2 receiving TDs on 23 receptions for 314 yards, recovered 2 fumbles on defense, and recorded 96 tackles.

Sophomore Year- 14 games 1727 yards 123.4 yards per game 30 touchdowns
45 receptions 625 yards 48.1 yards per games 5 receiving touchdowns

Guy doesn't look like a bad pickup at all. I like the fact that he runs HARD. Looks like he may be hard to tackle. Just another addition to a already great backfield. If Toney Williams is hurt like I heard, then we can redshirt him, and then him and this guy can just smash people all day long. I like it. I like it alot.
