There were other times that I noticed black db's, but the tape is so grainy and poor it's hard to tell with some of these kids wearing long sleeve shirts and gloves
You pull up when you KNOW you can't catch 'em right? Plenty of 5* WR's with 4.6 speed. Obviously that time is not necessarily accurate or they "Play" faster than their counterparts with slightly better 40 times. This kid has a gear that is obvious...and he's running away from white an d black athletes alike. For a 230lb FB...I'll take that all day, every day.Yes, it appears that he did pull away from one black DB who had clearly given up on the play and was jogging.
I"m not saying he sucks. I just watched the first minute of the clip and noticed that all the dudes on defense were white. So I wasn't so much impressed with said pulling away.
4.6 speed is pretty good for a fullback, though....right?
So, I guess Zack Rodgers speed doesn't count, huh? seeing that he's white automatically means he's slower than his black teammates, right?I just watched the first minute of the clip and noticed that all the dudes on defense were white. So I wasn't so much impressed with said pulling away.
I hope this kid can graduate HS early and be here for Spring camp. I think he has a good chance at getting some decent field time next fall, if he does. We'll see if his white boy speed is fast enough to break some runs in the SEC.Cause white folk can't run that fast. J/K
