If this was Bama, I'd agree with you. He may even be a 5*, if that were the case.most likely JUST because of the LSU offer/commit.
rivals does that.
yeah, not saying he isn't good...i just don't think there is much out there on him...If this was Bama, I'd agree with you. He may even be a 5*, if that were the case.
However, he's a 5.8 rating and of all the talented DB's at LSU's camp, it has been said that he's the only one that was able to stay with Jarvis Landry (WR-'11).
I don't know, but he may very well be worthy of the 5.8 rating. He's done pretty well at two big-time camps. We'll see.

I'm not sure, but would go out on a limb to say that they probably evaluate DBs and OLinemen differently. So did Zach Fulton
They probably use different evaluators. May even base it upon the level of competition that the player faced at the camps and prep competiton. I think La prep football is probably more competitive than Illinois.
Again, you're comparing the rating criteria of a WR/DB to that of an OL. And if you think that Illinois '10 is better than La '10, then ok. It's your opinion and that's cool. That Illinois camp is what propelled Kyle Prater to his new 5star rating and the title of #1 WR. I don't see why it didn't help Fulton any...
In my mind, Illinois' 2010 class is better than Louisiana's...
