David Reeves does. Coach Reeves thinks he can turn him into a good Qb. I wouldnt be surprised if he will be a vol on NSD.

You have to wonder what they REALLY want in a QB. Natural talent is one thing, but the ability to learn and work hard is something that this coaching staff wants.

Reaves has basically no track record at all. Anyone who believes he was more of a QB coach at SCar than Spurrier is just mistaken.

Tennessee is showing alot of interest in him, I know some people don't want to believe it, but they are. He is a good athlete and can be a good QB.

I cannot see the coaches going that route unless they exhaust nearly all their options. This kid has gotten passed over again and again. He's not an SEC level QB. LSU would be all on him if this were not the case.

This whole Munchie thing is mind boggling to me. I can't see any way that he could make it at QB in UT's system.

Then why has coach reeves and coach O been to see him many times, and why does he have a UT offer?

Except by all accounts he lost his offer to play QB at camp. He may still have an offer as an athlete.

Oh, and it's Reaves, not Reeves. That's just annoyed me. sorry.

Honestly, I almost hope he ends up at UT just to watch Sab's reaction. I can't even imagine what it would be like if he actually gets playing time and ends up being good.

If he comes here, he has a good chance to be successful. I think we will make any QB we take a good SEC QB.

Just mentioned this in the Brunetti thread, but one of Brunetti's coaches told me that Barry said that "a QB from Louisiana" told Barry that he was committing to TN.

FML if true. Maybe this will be the move that gets Reaves fired in a year or two though. I'd be down for that if we could get a legit QB coach in here.

Like the coach and I discussed, Muchie has had an offer for some time, and just because he go back then does not mean that TN will accept a commitment.

Thing is, Kiffiin has to approve of any recruit before an offer is made regardless of the recruiter. If Munchie didn't work out, it would reflect on Kiffin and not Reaves. I will be surprised if they are recruiting this kid as a QB. I can see as an athlete, but as far as QB, he just doesn't fit.

Munchie or Reaves?

Munchie because he simply isn't an SEC caliber QB. If Baylor doesn't offer because he sucked so much ass at their camp (when he fits their system much better than ours), that tells me all I need to know.

And Reaves? Just because he's never proved anything and only got the job because he's related to Kiff.

Reaves was Spurrier's recruiting coordinator. While being related definitely was a factor in his hiring, it's not like it was the only factor.
