Coleman an OL all the way and his stock keeps rising. He visited agian for the LSU game last weekend. I do believe that UA has as good a chance to land him as any.

I would not be surprised if we take Coleman despite the possibility of getting our top 3 OL prospects (Cullen, Chaz, JJames). I've even read a few speculate that we are gaining interest in Coleman at the expense of Cullen--an opinion I do not subscribe to. Cullen, being a JUCO, more than likely could really fill a position of need much better than a true freshmen from high school. Nevertheless, I hope we try to take Coleman.

It'll be interesting to see how Coleman does against Jackson Jeffcoat and Ronald Powell in the Army AA game. Perhaps our staff uses this game to decide if he's a "must take" even w/ the likelihood of signing our current top 3 OL recruits...
Coleman is near the top of our want list. Only Chaz Green is higher. We'd take him over Robinson. Cullen will hopefully provide much needed help immediately, but not being an EE puts him at a disadvantage.
Is there a chance he gets a look at TE if we still get a few more OL we are after?
Uh, no.

Sab do you think fulton is that big a project, i know he needs some time under his belt?????
Ordinarily he would be. I just don't see him as someone that comes in and earns a starting spot. There's going to be a lot of competition.
I'd agree he probably projects best as an OT. Robinson on the other hand projects as an OG all the way.

Yeah. I agree.

Coleman will be in Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday to see the Volunteers try to bounce back against Vanderbilt.

"Tennessee stands just like everybody else," Coleman said. "That's a school I'm looking at. I think I'd fit in good. It's a great SEC program and they're losing some offensive linemen, too."

He was at the beatdown in Ole Miss as well. so he saw first hand how in need UT is of his skills.

Shon would be a HUGE get. Figuring out who to play at tackle (James, Green, or Coleman) would be a great problem for UT to have.

Is there a good chance we can get him away from the barn? haven't heard much about our chances, but a visit can change everything

Best Feet: Shon Coleman
OT, 6-7/285, Olive Branch (Miss.)
This future offensive tackle looks like a power forward on the hardwood. He can slide his feet in any direction like a smaller skilled athlete.

That reminds me of John Henderson a bit. I'd love to have him at UT

So would I. This guy is one of my favorite OL in this class. He's right up there with James IMO.

There's a little noise about he and Robinson wanting to play together in college. I'm not sure if it's just something that a writer said or if there's validity to it. I would say that here and Auburn are the only places with room for both.
