It will take "something better than auburn" to sway him...

and he has visits to UT, ole miss, miami, ark... I would be willing to bet one of these schools is better than auburn...

It doesn't sound like he committed because of a close relationship with the staff or anything of that nature...

"Memphis, Ole Miss, and Tennessee came by. Tennessee brought over their offensive line coach , and he told me that I could come to Tennessee and play early because of their depth situation. They do not have many offensive linemen coming back."

What stands out about the Vols?

"I just like the depth they have on the offensive line."

"I am going to Tennessee on January 14-16. I am supposed to be going to Auburn January 21-23 or 28-30. I do not know yet."

Wow. I didn't think he was considering UT anymore. It would be great to get this young man considering how high the coaches are on him.

I think UT has a great shot at him right now. I believe he does not want to sign with the Barn now. We had a lot of interest in him I thought but I guess if we can get Stone and Arie that will be it for OL for our class, especially since we might pick up 2 more on the DL.

I like the 2 we are after but both of them will redshirt if they come here, where as Coleman could play I think day 1.

"I'm still committed (to Auburn), but I'm still going to take visits and stuff," Coleman said. "Arkansas, Tennessee, Miami, Auburn of course, and there is one more slot left."

Coleman's plan, at least at this point, is to take all five visits with the remaining days left before signing day. He has a few dates set so far.

"Tennessee is on the 15th and Auburn is either the 22nd or the 29th," Coleman said.

Per Rivals!

Shon Coleman will be a tough pull. I think this is our OL in order of % chance they actually sign with us JMO...

OL Shon Coleman and OL Damien Robinson. So the guy running the TOS Ole Miss site says we lead for both, and a poster over there gets the feeling from various posts on the subject of Robinson that he is ours whenever we are ready to take him.

Ole Miss, Auburn, and Miami still in play for Coleman.

New Scout article. Coleman calls himself a 'soft commit'

"I have visits set up at Auburn, Tennessee, Miami, Arkansas and Mississippi," Coleman said after practice. "I'm committed to Auburn, but I'm still taking my visits. I guess you could say I'm a soft commit."

The dude grew up a UT fan. I couldn't believe that when I read it.

I don't know who they are going to be, but we will fill every spot we have for O-line. What a beautiful thing.

Coleman will end up at Tennessee or Auburn. Those are the only 2 serious factors.

Everything I've heard on Damien Robinson is that he is a Vol if they want him. I think he's someone they will probably simply go ahead and sign on National Signing Day and let his grade situation sort itself out from there.

I do think this OLINE class is going to be incredible come February 3rd.

"Basically my top five is where I'm going to take my official visits. Tennessee, Miami, Auburn, Arkansas and there's one more slot left which will probably go to Ole Miss," said Coleman. "Right now I'm committed to Auburn so if anything comes up, it will probably go to signing day or maybe before [should that commitment change]."

"Coach Cregg, we have a good relationship. He took an in-home visit to my house and we got to know each other and he got to know my parents and stuff," said the 6-foot-7-inch, 285-pounder. "Tennessee is recruiting me a lot. They say they've got a spot for me. I'm going down there for an official visit next weekend."
