Jacques and Markeith did an unreal job this weekend of recruiting for Tennessee at the All-American game. UNREAL. They got guys that weren't even thinking about Tennessee thinking about us. Guys like Prater coming in for a visit now. Watch Coleman.

Those two and Miller have been as instrumental in this class as any coach.

No doubt, they need to get recruiting MVPs.

Shon is at au now and not coming here and said he is loving it there. No chance on this guy any more. Oh well

noticed he kept writing on Jac's wall when the Kiffin news broke several times asking for his number or saying call me ASAP - thought it was interesting.

I don't think even The Weasel would have ultimately turned him away from AU, but that's JMO and we'll obviously never know.

Looks like Cullen and Stone may be our best shots for the oline at the moment IMO. i PREY that we can somehow land Chaz.

We will not get Stone. He is all Bama. They have been slow playing him and he is still eating them up.

i dont think we want cullen at this point.

Yes. Clearly we are in a position to pick and choose the most elite guys to the point where we'd ignore the #1 JUCO lineman. I heard we also told Ronald Powell and Seantrel Henderson to take a hike.

the point of cullen was to come in and fill a spot immediately next year to help make us more competitive that year in hopes that we could do something big. That being said, i think that with all that has happened, it is obvious that we won't be as competitive next year as we previously thought, so investing in a young raw talent may be the better idea. If we have room, we take him, but i think if we fill out the class, we take a younger HS OL over him.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't we want to be as competitive as we can EVERY year!?

WTF, man.

yes, but have you not noticed all the meltdowns and people saying we wont recover from this for 4-5 years? The fact is that we are in rebuilding mode, and the best way to rebuild at this point would be to fill up this class with young raw talent and let the coaches do their thing. Of course we WANT to be competitive next year, but our chances are a LOT better in 3 or so years by which time Cullen would be gone, but any OL we get in this high school class will be hitting his prime.

just because we have a coaching change doesn't meant that next year is shot. considering what has happened i consider last year somewhat of a success. we will be competitive with Dooley, mark my words. just because FAGboy left doesn't change the fact that we're still low on tallent on the offensive line so i think cullen is just what the dr ordered in this scenario. JUCO's are underrated, I would love to get him and Thompkins. I dont care where your from, if you can come in and compete in the SEC you should be recruited in our situation.
