They were considering visiting Tennessee when Kiffin quit. When the switch was made to interim coach Kippy Brown, who just joined Kiffin's staff in December before the Chick-fil-A Bowl, they didn't hear a word from the Vols. So Cordelli called Brown, an old coaching acquaintance from Cordelli's many years as a college coach.

"Kippy had never heard of our guys and said he'd call me back," Cordelli said. "When he did, he wanted them to visit a couple of days later. But that was too short of notice and our kids wanted to wait to see who the new coach was going to be."[

Looks like Kippy would have made a great HC

He's visiting this weekend. I hope CDD talks to Coleman his week and sways him to join Robinson this weekend for a visit instead of going to Miami. Getting those two with Stone would be Killer. Green is starting to look like a Gator. Not sure how CDD is doing with him. No OL coach is really hurting right now.

Really hope we can sway this guy. He would be a much needed addition and would keep some momentum going.

I didn't realize this guy was a 5 star until yesterday. It would be absolutely amazing to add this guy to our class. IIRC, he was committed to Auburn. Is this still true or has he wavered any?

Edit: This guy is a 4 star. I mixed him up with Shon Coleman. My mistake

this guy is likely headed to Mississippi State. But I wouldn't be surprised if we can make a push for him

His top 3 are probably Ole Miss, Miss State, and UT... Arkansas and Oklahoma are outside shots.

JMO but I think he actually signs with Ole Miss. He's not announcing until NSD and he has said he won't even tell the coaches of the school he's choosing until NSD. So basically there will be no leaking news on Damien Robinson and we will just have to wait and see on NSD...

I think if we get both to visit together this wknd that we could pull them with Robinson always having a thing for TN and Coleman growing up a fan...get them on campus to meet our coaches and more in depth about depth chart and likely no Chaz Green coming could make TN more appealing to Coleman.

If only one visits I doubt we would pull either but if we did it would be Robinson

if there is one school Coleman would come to other than the crap barn its here, love to see him visit just for the heck of it IMO.
