ESPNU 150 athlete Keenan Allen expected to select Alabama

According to ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com, Keenan Allen (Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) is likely headed to Alabama. Oregon lost the fierce battle for Allen, the nation's No. 89-rated prospect.

Several other programs including Clemson, North Carolina, Tennessee, Penn State, N.C. State, Auburn, South Carolina, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Kentucky, Duke and Cal also offered.

He's been all Bama for awhile. This one will suck. Should catapult Bama toward the top of the rankings. Luckily they only have 4 or so more spots.

I hope he decides to day officially. Just read an article on Rivals that also says we are tied for J Fulton again with A Dixon coming in for an official visit now. Was USCjr in the lead but now we co-lead.

We need a few more to keep up with the Jones(UT) right now. UT has raised the bar this season.

If he has been a Bama lean this long, expected to commit any day, and if Tennessee is a darkhorse, he certainly will be watching this game very closely.

When he sees the way we play and he starts subconsciously pulling for the upset ...

I've never heard Tennessee was a dark horse in this race and I have a few really good sources.

COuld be wrong though as I haven't checked in a while. I'll see if I can find anything.

great another 5 star DB for bama. They've had like 3 or 4 in 2 years. There secondary is gonna be sick soon or i am just worrying too much?

LV don't forget we have Ahmad Dixon coming to town and it looks like he is very interested in us now.

Plus remember we are going to need them if UT gets a good QB that can throw the ball to all the WRs you guys are stockpiling.
