my bama roommate just told me this guy is supposed to commit really soon. Can't stand seeing bammers getting 5 star players... Why would any wr wanna go to Bama? Isn't their use of Julio or lack thereof all you we need to see...most physically gifted receiver in the CFB yet not even in rivals top 25 wr power rankings

Being recruited according to Tidewarrior as a WR.

Saban will get his players. The only good news for us is that when he has them and we have equal talent, judging from this years result we will win.

Dude has been "on the verge" of committing to Alabubba for months now. Wish he'd hurry up and do it so people could shut up about it happening "soon".

hmmm i would think it would be dumb to put him at WR. dude looks like a natural safety plus they have a shiz load of depth at WR now

Besides julio, who will be a junior and possibly in the draft after next year, they don't have anyone like this guy or at least it seems that way

He catches passes for TDs and rushes for TDs every game. He also is one of the leading tacklers and leads for interceptions. He can play either side of the ball. We need a big timeplaymaker and one with his size.

He might end up on defense, but we already have 5 DBs coming in with atleast one if not 2 more for the 2010 class.

You have a couple of a good receivers, 1 great one. You have a couple of really good running backs. What you lack is someone to get them the ball. It's sad as hell that Julio Jones isn't being utilized more than he is. That falls directly in the lap of McElroy IMO. So much for that upgrade from JPW.

The part of it is that our offense is so young. With the exception of 2 seniors graduating we return all the starters. If GMac doesn't step up, remember we have a top 5 QB in the 2009 class that is redshirted right now that will be competing with another top 5 QB for the 2010 class in the spring. So either way our offense will be fine in the future. Our top two receivers are sophmores and the top 2 RBs are a soph and freshman. So overall the offense will get better.

You better hope yours does cause ours is gonna get better and better also.

yep I agree Julio would have been all world as a Vol. He is just dying of mediocrity as a member of that team.:cray:
