100% false. JayVaughn's decision to hold off on signing had everything to do with Tobias showing up at the UT/UNC-Asheville game.

Believe what you will. JayVaughn and Tobias play the same position. Tobias has always received all the hype in New York. It's not that the two don't get along, but you can imagine the quiet rivalry these two kids have with each other. Also, it seems as though Torrel Harris has rubbed JayVaughn the wrong way.

JayVaughn loves Tennessee, and he recognizes the tremendous opportunity UT provides him. However, like I said before, Bruce has his work cut out for him if he wants both Tobias and JayVaughn.

does anybody else view pinkston as a total pansy now? how can you make this decision based on whether we get somebody at the same position? seems weak to me. its basketball. its not like he's not gonna get in the rotation because harris is here. man up; if you've got talent then dont worry about who else we sign. damn.

You're mistaken if you think recruits don't read what people are saying about them on internet message boards, especially a message board of a school the recruit is seriously considering.

i never said that....i doubt he is reading this current thread. he may in the future...but his decision will have come and passed.*

Man Im pumped for the live announcement. I was watching video and Harris handles the ball like a freakin point. The only bad thing is at the end josh shelby makes a sick dunk and it hurt me to watch.

Pinkston is basically a less athletic Negedu. He's a small 4 man how plays with a presence. But he doesn't want to go to the same school as Harris. His coaches and family have given the reason he didn't sign as being "he didn't want to rush it." Well, he'd already chosen UT. The reason he didn't sign is to wait and see if Harris is signing. If not, he will be a Vol. If Harris is a Vol, Pinkston will not be. Mark it down.

The Vols have still not fully backed off Selby and also are trying to close in on C.J. Leslie (although he's said to be leaning to UK or Florida).

BTW, if anyone brings up my stupid sig again I'm gonna snap haha.

I'll have it on here eventually. LV gave it to me, I just haven't put it up. The bet was JJ would "sign" with UGA/UT not commit. But he's EE so once he's here I will hold up my end and rock the sig. It's pretty gay, he did well.

The whole Pinkston/Harris thing is funny. Two days ago, it seemed like Pinkston was a Vol and Harris was scared away to Cuse. A few hours later, Harris was a Vol as was Pinkston. By the next morning, Pinkston had changed his mind and it indeed seems like he is scared away and will probably end up in Nova.

I have no reason to doubt you. I just think it is very strange he wasn't aware Tennessee was after both of them. It's been well documented for months this staff wanted them both.
