'10 OH QB Andrew Hendrix

Kind of shows your intelligence level there bud...Hendrix appears to be a career backup QB type....Scroggins is a start around mid season in your freshman year type :eek:k:

I question some one's intelligence over that. That just his opinion. We can only speculate how good some of these QBs will be at the next level. Even the people that get paid to judge the talent miss sometimes.

Scroggins is still my favorite out of the QBs in this class though.

Feel free to count me in the low IQ crowd as well. I like what I'm seeing from Hendrix as much as either Heaps or Scroggins. I've felt that way from the beginning.

I readily admit that I have no idea what I'm doing in evaluating talent, by the way.

There is no way he is in the category with Heaps or Scroggins YET. All of this potential that I keep hearing about may turn him into a stud. But right now, his 11 TDs and 7 INTs just doesn't match the other 2...

I agree. His touchdown to INT ratio is terrible for an "elite" HS QB prospect, and he definetely needs some grooming before he can play in the SEC IMO.

the grooming will need to happen in his face first

You are way too stuck on stats.

I really like him---others seem to think he's second fiddle to Heaps/Scroggins but I'd take Hendrix over Scroggins. Very strong HS program--well coached and mature. I think he'll be a good one, a really good one

I'd take him over Heaps not Scroggins. He and Heaps are the same type of QBs but he has more potential.

This kid had got to be a work in progress. You can't judge everyone on stats alone, however good stats in the past do have some predictive value of future success

The kid played in a run-oriented offense. They plan to take advantage of his talents more this year. He does have a tendency to "force" the ball at times as do many QB's with a rocket arm. He'll be fine. His mechanics are as good as any QB out there and better than Scroggins or Bell and his arm is probably the best in the class.

Heaps might be the top QB prospect in the country this season if not near the top, I would take him over Hendrix every single day of the year and twice on sunday...There is really no comparision at all.

Rivals is the only raters that doesn't have Heaps as the #1 QB. Scout and Sporting News both have him as a top 15 player overall too. I'm purty sure that Tom Lemming has him #1 also, but I'll have to look it up...

Our staff has very high expectations and standards as they have already proven in the little time that they have been here. We get who we want and don't settle for anything else.

We are going to get some great recruits in the QB position I am very confident. I was not to high on Marve and then I saw his high school vids. He was making some impossible throws on the run. It was way more impressive IMHO than Heaps/Scroggins.

You should see his highlight vids of last year with Miami, The kid can play :good!: Please remember that Miami was pretty much a freshman and soph dominated team last year.
