'10 OH QB Andrew Hendrix

I would probably put the Big Ten dead last even behind the Big East. Did they even win a bowl game last year?

You share a lot of good info and seem pretty knowledgeable about recruiting. That said, I can't believe you just made that statement!

I thought the same, but I wasn't going to be the first to say it. I already pile on Vader jr. enough.

We all have our share of making questionable statements sometimes, Lord knows I have.:)

I was just a little taken by that statement considering the info he shares.

The Big East was 4-2 in bowl games last year, and the Big 10 was 1-6. The 2 Big East losses were by 3 and 13. The 6 Big Ten losses were by 3, 14, 12, 21, 7, and 29. The Big ten just didn't lose, they got hammered. The better defenses (statistically), are in the Big East as well as better team speed. Don't get me wrong, the Big East still sucks...

I don't think anyone would argue that the top 2 teams in the Big East are better than the top 2 teams in the Big 10. But, imo, after you get past the top 2 or 3 in the Big Ten, they are pathetic. They used to dominate on pure size and strength, but now they cannot compete with the speed of the South and on the coasts...

1. SEC
2. Big 12
3. Pac 10
4. ACC
5. Big East (barely)
6. Big 10

No way the Pac-10 and Big East are ahead of the Big 10. Focusing on bowl games to prove your point is laughable.

I thought this kid had already been offered. If I recalled there was a article on both rivals and scout saying that we had. Whats the deal

The Pac-10? Are you serious Sab? I'm gonna try to cover everything so you can't say I'm focusing on anything like you always do...

USC over Ohio St 35-3
USC over Penn St. 38-24
Penn St. over Oregon St. 45-14
Oregon over Purdue 32-26
Cal over Mich St. 38-31

The Pac 10 was 5-1 last year against the Big 10...

The Pac 10 was 6-0 in bowl games while the Big Ten was 1-6 and were destroyed in most of them...

In the Coaches Poll at the end of the year, the Pac 10 had 2 teams in the top 10 and 4 in the top 25 while the Big ten had 1 in the top 10 and 3 in the top 25...

In the draft, the Pac 10 had 11 players drafted in the first 2 rounds while the Big 10 only had 6....

It is kinda close on defense. The Pac 10 had 4 of the top 25 defenses in the country while the big 10 had 3, but all 3 of them were in the top 14...

All your stats are skewed by one team, USC and they aren't even that much supportive of either conference. One team does not an entire conference make. I'm talking top-to-bottom. You're also focusing on one year. That only tells part of the story. Year in and year out, the Big Ten is better overall than the Pac-10. Almost anyone would tell you the same.

It appears the Pac-10 is on the rise and the Big Ten is on the decline. Michigan needs to be an elite program again. I still give the edge to the Big Ten but they are heading in the wrong direction. Washington, and UCLA could make the conference a bit more competitive in the near future.

Ohio State has officially offered Moeller junior Andrew Hendrix (6-3, 220), according to Moeller football coach John Rodenberg. Bucknuts.com first reported the offer last weekend.

Hendrix also has offers from Tennessee, Boston College, Nebraska, UC, Virginia, and several others.

The Pac 10 was was 5-1 against the Big 10 last year. Honestly, I don't know what better comparison there is. Take out the 2 thrashings that USC handed Ohio St. and Penn St. (the top 2 Big Ten teams), and the Pac 10 still went 3-1...

I have NEVER heard anyone say that the Big Ten is better than the Pac 10 until today on this thread. EVER!!!

I was waiting for you to say something about "year in, year out" and "top to bottom" hahaha. How about this decade? Would that cover enough for you Sab? Here is each Pac Ten teams' record against the Big Ten since 2000. Take out USC and the Pac 10 is still above .500:
Arizona 0-5
Arizona St 3-0 (1 bowl win)
Cal 5-2
Oregon 4-3 (1 bowl loss)
Oregon St 0-1
USC 7-0 (5 bowl wins)
Stanford 0-0
UCLA 5-1 (1-1 in bowl games)
Washington 3-4 (1-1 in bowl games)
Washington St 1-2 (1 bowl win)

Total 28 - 18 (9-3 in bowl games)

Here is the records of the Pac 10 and Big 10 vs each conference since 2000:

Pac10 Vs

Big 10 28-18
Big East 9-6
SEC 10-7
Big 12 22-21
ACC 5-5

17 games above .500

The Big 10 vs

Big East 17-9
ACC 13-10
SEC 14-17
Big 12 17-23
Pac10 18-28

8 games below .500

The evidence cannot be clearer as to who the better conference is between the Big 10 and Pac 10. Sab, if you argue with this, I don't know what to tell ya man...

Lol the Big Ten is a joke in football.

Who had more top 25 teams in the last decade? That's what I care about. All your other info could be skewed.
