'10 OH QB Andrew Hendrix

I don't know about their rating of Hendrix but I took a look at their top 10 QB's and Rivals from a few years ago... and Scout more accurately picked the ones that would be successful.

I looked at that a few days ago, and I was very surprised. Scout made good calls on McCoy and Bradford as well. Rivals whiffed on those 2...

Rivals and Scout both have there strength areas. But overall rivals is better.

Wasn't Bradfords rating kind of skewed because they thought he was going to play golf in college or something? For some reason that sticks out to me and I'm not sure why.

There's an article up on rivals that talks about Dominque Brown committing to play QB for Cincy. Don't think Hendrix ends up there. Just worth noting.

Not sure, but don't think they were ever in it. But, may I be the first to say, welcome to the board.

The ND and OSU guys on the MB are acting like we have no chance with Hendrix. I think they are a little too confident, but I'm not sure...

I wonder if the staff has let up on his recruitment some. I haven't been hearing to much about him lately concerning UT.

Beyond that, they are absolute morons. At least the Notre Dame guys. The OSU fans seem to concede that we are at least one of his top schools. Hendrix is tough to read. He's had real good things to say about Tennessee, but hasn't been down to visit or camp. I can't get a good feel of what he's going to do.

Cincinnati wasn't much of a factor but Dom Brown is a great athlete and player. I'd personally take him over Hendrix. I'm just not at all impressed with Hendrix.

Regarding St. X, they weren't suppose to be as impressive as their 05 or 07 state team because they lost the heart and soul of that team in Darius Ashley. He was a hell of a player. They started out 1-0 and ended up being 4-6 due big time to starting quarterback Luke Massa breaking his collarbone against Louisville Trinity. The fell off after this. But before Massa got hurt he led St. X to victory over then #5 in the country Don Bosco prep. Cincinnati has been a factor in Hendrix's recruitment as Head Coach Brian Kelly had been at Moeller in the weight room nearly every day. Of course that wasn't only for Hendrix but a lot of it was for him.

He's going by the phone conversation he overheard between Chaney and Rees' dad. Nothing concrete at all there, just recruiting speak mostly.

its all guess work as far as a player being at top of pile and being successful. Check out the 2004 QBs.

I put what happened to them in last year of their eligibility unless they did not finished that eligibility with signing team or if drafted, I put in where drafted.

If UT wants Hendrix I think they get him, but the longer it takes the dimmer it looks. Scroggins needs to give his top 5 or 3 at least. I have not heard much from him at all.

Kid played a game 5 minutes from me this past year. I knew I should have went and watched as two big timers in Ohio went at it.

Ouch... Times have changed

Thanks Ohio Vols

They are still a powerhouse don't get me wrong. They just lost so much talent from 2 years ago, they are somewhat rebuilding if you will. Also, they played the toughest schedule in the nation of any high school program I would be willing to say.

So I just finally watched his vid and I think this is the guy we need.

He has a cannon for an arm. Great awareness, and fantastic footwork and ball control.

He works mostly from the shotgun though. What is the word on this guy?

I've been on him for awhile. I think he's the best QB in the country still available not named Jesse Scroggins. He is definitely a perfect fit for a pro-style O. Like I said in the other thread, everyone is running some version of the spread now. Hard to find a QB that comes from a drop back passing offense. You just have to look at potential. Getting them to camp and putting them through drops is very helpful, as it was with Brunetti. I don't think Andrew is planning to camp here though.

I love his footwork Sab. It is very impressive to see a high schooler with that kind of skills.

That's the biggest thing that impressed me was his footwork. Also understand that this guy split time the first half of the year and just came into his own the second half of his season and really started lighting it up. To be that raw, his footwork and his delivery REALLY impressed me.

Saw that you posted you weren't going to post on Rivals anymore. What's up with that?

Man those guys attack Kevin for no reason to me. I hate that **** man. Jealousy is rampant over there.

It is like everybody tries to one up each other over there. I am just gonna read and post here. Plus I don't really like any of those guys. I pretty much know everyone over here.
