I just kind of feel like if Cobbs commits then we automatically lose out on Prater. And I'd rather have Prater over Cobbs. But then again, we may not end up with Prater, so lets take the chance and get Cobbs. CATCH 22 at it's best.

I dont think Prater is worried about Cobbs. He is probabley more worried about who will be throwing the ball to him.

I have a feeling even if we are recruiting him as a WR, he will end up going to Safety or another position on D.

Midfielder10, Cobbs will not end up at any defensive position, trust me. If he comes here, he will play WR, whether Prater is here or not.

I dont see us having enough room to get all of our WR's on the field. Teague switching to D possibly could free things up.

cobbs does look too dangerous with the ball in his hands, from what I have seen, not to be on the offensive side of the ball. Kid has a nose for the endzone.

Cobbs committing wont scare Prater off. Cobbs will fit into the mold that Warren is try now. Prater shouldnt be scared of anyone.

I think with Prater it comes down to the offensive scheme. Does the team throw the ball, and I know Kiffin has a good plan for that, but I am not sure that will happen this season. I think UT will run the ball more this fall, which is fine because if they do they have the talent to win 8+ games. UT is like UA when Saban arrived. Both teams had the talent just underachieved with previous coaches. Kiffin can turn it around but will play it a little safe I think this year which he will run the ball and not gamble to much and get wins. The nice about a back like Brown they can be an impact as a freshman if the OLine can block. A QB doesn't need to be great and WRs can develop if a team can run the ball and they can still win games.

what day does he arrive....i am so pumped about this WR overhaul....we have needed play-makers there for a while now

Cobbs, Milton, and Ambles would be a huge haul

I think you missed this one, I'd invite you to take a stronger look at Demarco. Warren was recruited to play defensive end by some teams, there's no way you compare the two, they're totally different. Demarco has all the skills to play receiver, Warren just got moved there out of necessity.

I sing the praises of Cobbs as much as anybody because I think this guy is the real deal.

Again, you guys are paying way too much attention to Cobbs rivals timed 40...

look at his track times, he is very fast and very big...

he would smoke B Warren.

Both Cobbs and Warren were/are freakishly athletic coming out of HS. Cobbs will be groomed to be a WR, while Warren was screwed with at DE, TE and now WR. He should have been a WR all along.

Bottom line is Cobbs is a player. Top 100 player in fact. I dont know why people are so picky and choosy. I would love to have him commit and then go after Prater if we want to. I would rather be guaranteed a one top athlete than to be second to both.The kid can play and I hope he will be a Vol

He apparantly told a Bama reporter that he would be going to Knoxville this wknd, but he would not commit until after his officials. That is what I saw on another site.. TFWIW

His final six are Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Bama, and LSU. I really don't think he has a true leader, which means we have a great chance to elevate our position with him this weekend. Here is a quote from a Rivals article:

Ok thanks for the info guys. I dont post in the recruiting forum much because i def dont know how to judge high school talent so i mostly just read what you guys have to say.
