Oh don't get me wrong, I think the kid is a great player. I just know that coaches were somewhat surprised by his 40 time. I think it's one of those cases where the kid plays faster than his 40 time. Also I know that some schools were recruiting him to play safety or even linebacker and they think he can be a stud there, only time will tell. I think he's all Vol though unfortunately.

I agree with this statement. As far as position at the nest level I think he will get a good look at playing a stout WR but he has the frame to play LB.

No, it means someone said it on VQ, and then someone else repeated it on Scout. Someone is probably posting on Scout that people are saying it on VN.

He's getting his info from a new Scout article today where Cobbs said he's gonna take at least 2 official visits (UT and LSU), and that he doesn't have a clue when he's going to announce. He said it won't be soon...

Easy. Scroggins loved his visit. We were pretty sure he was ours, especially after the quote about USC getting in on him late. I think the staff thought he was a done deal.

We lost him because his dad pushed him to stay close to home, and he grew up a USC fan.
