I think another possibility is that he could be a silent commit. He may just want to take visits and have some fun before going public to UT.

The fact that we have 3 true freshman who are forced into immediate playing time (due to injuries), and I believe Jones, Hancock, and Warren are gone after this season, we have to be looking very good to both Prater and Cobbs. There's room for both in this boat.

It would be great to get both of them but it looks as though Prater is going to be a Trojan.
