“I know I’ve got a pretty good chance (with) my size to make an immediate impact as a freshman,” he said.

Cobbs could continue a strong, recent run of talented receivers to leave Oklahoma for UT. Gerald Jones and Robert Meachem are two examples.

“I wouldn’t say that played a part into my decision but I did look at that and I thought that was pretty cool that (those) two came from the same state and went to Tennessee and have been very successful,” Cobbs said. “Robert Meachem was an All-American there. I feel that I can go there and do the same also.”

That's awesome. Already talking about about playing immediately and playing like an all-american. At least he has high hopes and is confident in his ability. I have a feeling we'll see him running over a few defenders. Hopefully a few stiff arms. His arms are biiig.

I'm still amazed by his arms. Not often you see wide receivers with arms that look like that. Even as seniors in college. This kid is a senior in high school. He is going to turn db's into pancakes.

Demarco is a model kid and I really wish more recruits had his mindset and outlook on things. Tennessee is not only getting a great football player but a great person.

He keeps impressing me. Can't wait till he gets here and proves himself to the coaches and current players.
