One school that is sure to make the cut, Cobbs confirmed, is LSU.
What other schools are in the running to make the final five?
“Alabama, Tennessee, USC, Georgia, Florida and Oklahoma are the other schools I am really feeling,” he said. “I am just trying to weigh out the pros and cons of each, because it seems like my overall feeling changes everyday.”
Cobbs’ favorite list, which he said he plans to trim down in the next few days, consists of Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee and Texas.
"I’ll play a lot more receiver this fall,” said Cobbs, who had six catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns in 2008.
I dont see him at Bama, would love to have him but doubt it. I think he waits to see what teams do well, who can play him as a freshman, and if wanting to be a WR which teams throw the ball the most.
The concern for UT this year will they demonstrate a passing offense enough to entice him. I know we probably wont. Even if passing is in the futre for Kiffin he might run more this year to try and win games, especially with Brown added to a good backfield. Bama showed even with a weak offense you can win games by running.

"My top six is in no order, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma and Florida," Cobbs said Thursday night.
Tennessee: "Lane Kiffin is from USC, and he ran that offense the two years they won the national championship. He has college and NFL experience, and I know he will try and install the same offense at Tennessee. They are going to bring in the same type of players too, and while they are rebuilding, anyone who goes in now has a good chance of making plays and winning games for him. I believe this year they are going to take their lumps and bruises, but by my sophomore year they will be a good team and making some noise in the SEC."
I can't see him going to Georgia or Bama. Too much talent at WR all ready and he really doesn't sound too big on LSU. I know he was discouraged with them in the Spring cuz they weren't contacting him. My guess right now is that the Sooners are the leader...
And imo, Cobbs > Ambles...
