'10 PREP OL Morgan Moses

who cares...lineman are a dime a dozen...there's not much difference between the top 10 linemen and the top 50 linemen...recruiting OL is tricky cuz they're all so much bigger than the competition in HS football. Moses is just so big he dominates in HS whereas maybe he gets in college and doesn't have the mentality to be a big mover when the other hog molly's are just as big. I'm not saying Moses wont be good, not saying that at all, before I get trashed. I'm just pointing out that we have some good OL commits that could be even better with the right attitude and the right coach.

According to GVX, Moses is most likely prep-bound anyway for what it's worth. Takes some of the sting off of it.

Morgan Moses is another reason why college football recruiting doesn't make sense. He was more than ready to commit to a coach that had turned a dynasty into a joke and refused to play under class men. Now he won't give the school the time of day. I hope he follows Fulmer to the ends of the earth like the rest of the brainless.

I believe he was Latrell Scott's, but sounded like it didn't matter because Fulmer was gone, period.

What's even worse, it seems like he did not want to be part of a discipline-style format that Kiff is installing up on the Hill.

I really do not understand his reasons either. If he does end up at prep school and UT has a solid season next year, we may still be able to land him. I also agree with govols87. Lineman are really hard to predict at the next level.

Whose to say Tennessee wasn't reaching a new level in 2007 until 2008 happend?

I would say that there is a slight difference in the inter team turmoil of 1992 and the complete ineptitude of 2008, culminating in losing to Wyoming at home.. on homecoming.

read on rivals where he was only contacted once after Kiff took over? think Kiff knew he was Hargrave bound?

Yes. And it seems that Kiffin is counting on being able to bring in guys to fill positions every year. I don't think he's going to be one to sign and place very many.

hes going to Hargrave, at least for a year, probably 2

Prep school is usually 1 year and then go to the school your originally signed with. If you still don't make the grades go to JUCO for 2 years or sign with a different school with lesser academic standards. I don't remember anyone doing prep school more than 1 year.

we are said to be out of the race for this kid now that latrell scott is ot of knoxville. i'm so pissed. this hurts. i wanted morgan moses so incredibly bad. he would have been a great add to the 09 class, but i guess not

Leon Mackey is the only kid i've known that's been in prep for over a year.
