'10 PREP OL Morgan Moses

Can't teach 6'7 340 lbs., or whatever he is. I assume he would project as a tackle?

I think he would be a guard next year. He may not be good enough on pass blocking to be a tackle. Probably not quick enough yet to block the DEs in the SEC. But he is a road grader for the running game. He might move to tackle later on down the road though...

I'm thinking its possible that he gets a 6th year for an injury redshirt. IIRC they said he was running and doing some work with the team a few weeks ago, so I don't think its career ending like they seemed to think at the beginning.

Could he get a doctotate in that length of time? Whatever the case. A 6 year degree ought to get him places.

whats the chances we get him though?

Sounds like UV is the competition, and from what most think, that staff is done.

I would say good. We got PT available, if you can win it.

Who was the assistant coach that Clawson brought in that went to UVA? If he went to another school then that school might become a dark horse in this race. MM was committed to him more than a school.

One thing about this business is that you can only go based on what you are told.I still get crap about the Crompton stuff years ago but that came directly from his family. The same deal goes for Morgan Moses so we'll see if it pans out. But I can assure you that Tennessee is very much on the mind of the Moses family, so that's all I can go on.

The Vols would do well in getting two of those three OL (Moses, Leifheit, James) for sure.

Those who might be in the know, what did this reference out of curiosity?

Guys, I don't think at this point it matters what happens to the UVA staff. I'm pretty sure Morgan has us in front of them.

If he does come to UT, he'll be a massive road-grading Guard. His pass-blocking will come around once Cregg gets with him.

Partially from comments that some have made about us leading, but mostly a guess. Virginia is going nowhere. I just can't believe he'd still want to go there.

It was also on the Amp Rivals weekly whispers it had a comment that said that we lead even though he likes virgina.

Farrell continues to say that Morgan's "people" say Tennessee is the leader. We'll see how it plays out but right now it sounds like the only threat is Virginia and I cant imagine them being a legit threat with the likelihood of Groh and his staff being gone.
