'10 SC DT Kelcy Quarles

Miami is such a joke. I have never seen such a tradition riched program such as Miami, with a horrific fan base and they don't even have their own stadium. Thank the Lord they are in an area where all they have to do is look outside at bluechippers.

I saw the half-full Dolphin Stadium on tv a few time this year when Miami played. I asked myself "is this the U football that every kid at my age wants to a part of?"

If this kid isnt man enough to tell his Dad to let him make his own damn decision.....I tend to doubt he has the set it requires to strap it up against the best of the best in the SEC every Saturday in the Fall. Could be wrong.....just a guess.

I would say that statement is wrong on many levels.

agree with eric here. Family should be part of your decision. A major part.

It definitely should be a part of YOUR decision. But they should not be able to make the decision for you. If he wants to stay closer home so it will be easier for his dad to watch him play, that's fine by me. But if he loves UT and feels that Knoxville is a close enough drive for his father to come to the games, his dad should not be able to tell him that he cannot be a Vol simply cuz he was a Cock...

yeah. I mean in my decison on where to play ball my family just told me what they thought was best for me and let me make MY decision of what I wanted. They supported it fully. My point is the family should guide and give advise to the prospect, not lead him or her.

Family is very important and each family has a different dynamic relationship. This kid maybe very close to his dad and despite the fact that he might want to go to another school than his dad likes he might make the sacrifice to stay closer to him. Thats a great thing and shows a lot of character IMHO

The U has definatly changed. We all remember the power house the had when they went on the championship run.

Shannon better get the show on the road or start lookin for a new place to live.

Remember when we beat Miami after no one thought we had a shot.. that was a great victory for those boys.

sorry i didnt make that clear.

as for KW if he cant make it in the NFC South he wont make it anywhere.

Sabanocchio: Do you see us having a legit shot at flipping this kid?

I don't see it with his dad steadfast in his desire for him to be a Gamecock. You have to sell the dad at this point and that's a tough sell being that usc is his Alma Mater.

Gotcha. Its too bad a parent wouldnt let their child make up their own mind. Reminds me of the recruiting fiasco between Kellen Winslow and his father.
