'10 SC DT Kelcy Quarles

Quarles woul probably start right away in Knoxville, not to many kids can say that. We know if Fulmer was there Quarles wouldnt see the field until he was a 5th year senior but with Kiffin, day 1 starter. I can see the press conf now, 2 hats, usce and UT.

It's gonna be hard for anyone to start over the Hughes/Walls tandem imo...

i agree with vader.....quarles has a lot of filling out to do to...he is ranked so high based on potential...his frame could take on a lot more weight

he is 6'4 or 6'5 and around 250lbs...he could easily put 30lbs on at that frame

could be true about starting but we haven't seen them in the heat of battle in the SEC. IF anything there is still lots of playing time with as much rotation involved on the dline.

This kid will flip flop ala Jarvis Giles, Nyshier Oliver, and others.

I hope he makes the right decision for he and his family.

While the 6-4, 250 pound four-star defensive tackle is undecided, he is not working through a laundry list of schools at this point.

"Tennessee and South Carolina are out in front," Quarles said. "Then maybe LSU. They are a school that has been coming on and I have been thinking about."

"I call coach O all the time," Quarles said

this year D-Line class will be sick something we have not had in a very long time!

I am not going to get my hopes up regarding this kid. He was all vol after orange and white game. Went home and told sc rivals mods that he was firm. He never decommitted or even mentioned thinking of it. I think his family pressures him to stay in-state.
