I listen to almost all, and value all of my BIG ORANGE families opinion, and views. Hopefully the Quarles can see that we are on the rise, and let there son make the short trip to Knoxville to go to college. anyone with a set of eyes can see which team is on the rise.

No...unfortunately they didn't. They were out on official visits...checking out fuel stations surrounding the campus in (SC). Jeffrey gave them some leads. :)

Also, Quarles father spoke to Orgeron this morning. The train has not left the station on this guy, as many have said, but I would expect USCs top recruit to wear Orange next year. Where we fit him into this class is a different story... I have no clue, but you make room for him to be sure.

When I posted last month about 3 silent commits, Quarles was the name I was told not to reveal. Glad its finally out there. Not that he was full silent commit, but that the staff was very confident he'd be orange, just not public till late in the game.

Well, he was my choice in the "pick the surprise recruit" thread. I'd love it if Quarles became a Vol, but I'm not gonna take what posters say on VQ to heart.

It's entirely possible, though.

I would love for this to be true but I have a hard time believing it...at least, at this point. From my understanding, Quarles is an active recruiter for USCjr and if that's true, that seems to blow this "rumor" outta the water. I don't have any knowledge though, so I'd be curious to hear the one's in the know opinion.

It's no secret that Kelcy loved his visit back in the spring, but pops was the problem. The 'silent' rumors have been around since the spring.

O talking to pops is the major news. If they build a good relationship then it's over.

Would be awesome to steal him :rock: These defensive recruits are stellar. I cannot wait to get these hosses in orange and white(or black) uniforms.

If we did end up getting Quarles and Willis moved to DT, we would probably have the most athletic DT tandem in the country.

Agreed, it seems like Willis can really move. I haven't read TOO much on Quarles...I don't so much care for 40 times. Does he have game speed?

He has very good speed for a DT, and is very athletic, much like Willis if he moves inside.

Yes. Quarles is an athletic freak -- one of the best DL prospects in the country. This would be a huge pick-up.

:rock: That's what I like to hear. If we can get those boys to around 270-280ish with that speed...God help any offensive line.

Factor that in with Walls (another converted athletic DT) and that statement becomes even more true...
