this confirmed by who? i want this kid more than anybody with me living down here in sc....but everything i have read is that he is firm and has been recruiting for sc

He is by FAR, the Gamecocks best 2010 recruit. That would be awesome in itself stealing this guy. Not to mention, he seems to be a hell of an athelete.

John Brice said this morning that he will be here on an unofficial this weekend.He said that Kelcy said that was something about UT that he just couldn't shake so take it FWIW.

I just wished the guy could have made it up for the UT/SC beat down. Dont really like the fact that hes coming for the memphis game but I guess you could look at it 3 ways:

1. To get the guy on campus is an amazing job by the staff. And for the guy to say UT is on the brain alot is a compliment to the staff being relentless.

2. It is homecoming.

3. Hopefully its a beat down of epic proportions and the crown of 100,000+ stays till the end to enjoy it.

Quarles coming for any game is absolutely huge. Memphis or not.

If dad is won over this weekend Kelcy is a Vol.

Cock fans have never really been nervous about losing Quarles, until now. Getting the 3 top DL from SC would be a huge slap to the face to SOS.

Quarles is a player that I've wanted to see join the VOLS from the start. He will be an athletic DT, that has plenty of speed and will be able to gain weight/strenth and be a beast.

Question, if we do get Quarles does UT call it a day on the D-line and just go after other positions?

If Broussard and Harris don't make it in, we only have 3 DE right now (Smith, Miller, Copeland) and 2 DT right now (Willis, Brown)

Still plenty of room for Quarles, Lemonier, and maybe another DT
