Today I'll be going on a bus with the Franklin football team, they play today against Ootawah, so I'll be able to see Jacques play in person, can't wait to see him up close.

I know we got some more blue chip DL recruits, but J Smith is my favorite of all our recruits. He just looks like the man!

J Smith is my favorite too (Ambles close second) just because of his love for UT. He was our first for this class and has been passionate about the Vols. Blood runs orange.

Uh all he does in basketball is post up get and and basically Dwight Howard the basketball he just trucks you then slams it.

The Owls led by Jacques Smith are now ranked #1 in the state - first time in school history - probably won't last though come playoff times do to QB issues.

They blow out Walker Valley 56-0 tonight - hopefully will have his stats later.

Stats for the night: maybe two tackles. Didn't play that well, but only played limited snaps once the lead got big. He is big fast and strong, but WV's line held their own without doubleing him. If I'm not mistaken he didn't record any offensive stats but was a good lead blocker when in. Not as impressive as Miller and Willis from what I saw, but again that was only one game and his team did win which is all that matters in football.....

he pulled a hammy last week and they were talking about not even playing him this week. I would think he played a very limited number of plays.

Wrong. Both of those rumors. Did not pull a hammy and played the first half of yesterdays game as we won by 56. And Lord no he is not wavering, on monday for example (this was our homecoming week and we got to dress for our favorite college team) he wore more orange on his body than all the orange ive ever seen in neyland

What did you think of my summary of the game. If I wasn't so busy I would have found you when we shook hands. I'm our terrible kicker haha. I touched the ball once which isn't a good thing since you have to touch it once for a kickoff. I think our line did a good job against yours but our qb didn't play well (missed school all day stomach virus) and your lbs filled the holes well. He didn't shine but I think as good as he is he would've if needed. And what number are you again.
