'10 TN DE Jacques Smith

Wrong. Both of those rumors. Did not pull a hammy and played the first half of yesterdays game as we won by 56. And Lord no he is not wavering, on monday for example (this was our homecoming week and we got to dress for our favorite college team) he wore more orange on his body than all the orange ive ever seen in neyland

So when he told me face to face after the maplewood game that he pulled his hamstring, he was lying to me?

What did you think of my summary of the game. If I wasn't so busy I would have found you when we shook hands. I'm our terrible kicker haha. I touched the ball once which isn't a good thing since you have to touch it once for a kickoff. I think our line did a good job against yours but our qb didn't play well (missed school all day stomach virus) and your lbs filled the holes well. He didn't shine but I think as good as he is he would've if needed. And what number are you again.

You got owned 56-0... what did you expect from Jacques? The Owls 3rd string defense would have owned you guys just as hard. And I heard WV actually had a big offensive line.

What a classy post.

Stating facts - if posts like that rub you wrong then I'm not sure how you stand to stay here.

I didn't trash their team or throw any insults out and I have no problem with WV - they know they have no business playing teams like Ooltewah, it's unfortunate they had to schedule them this year and we had to drop rivals like Farragut. I just thought it was funny he was talking about not being impressed with Jacques in a freakin' blowout. How much did EB do against WKU?

The fact that you actually know who/what that is actually an insult to yourself. Good try though.

I'd be ashamed.

It was a region game if that is what you were referring too. Ooltewah is not the number one team in the state (for that classification). I'm not sure if they are in the same class, but Bearden is a much more complete team (with a healthy Young). WV's line shut made Jac, and the whole defensive line from Ooltewah a non-factor. The reason we couldn't move the ball was perimeter blocking by wideouts (we run a spread), bad qb play, and backs not hitting the right holes. Now I'll give credit where credit is due, they stomped us. EB was not thrown the ball in the WKU game (they threw to his side of the field once). I think Jac will be a great player at UT, however, he was not the gamechanger he has been in other games in his limited action, even at the begining of the game (by the way, at the begining the score is always zero zero). Although, no one has ever thought you to be a knowledgeable person anyway when it comes to the game.....

I am much less worried about his play in a blowout than I am a close one like last week. He tore Maplewood apart and they have a much better team.

The polls disagree with you and I'm beginning to wonder if your view was blocked the whole time while your team was on offense based on the bold parts - you play for the team - you're as biased as anything - and that's O.K - if I played for an opposing team and got beat 56-0... I'd be bitter too. It was an old-fashioned blow-out in every aspect of the game.

What I was saying is it isn't fair that WV has to play a team the caliber of Ooltewah when we used to play OR/Farragut/WB/etc. Not sure why you'd take offense to that.

Still thinks its hilarious you claim Jacques didn't look very good when the game was over by the 1st quarter.

Did you read the sentences after your bolded part. It says basically what you just said. Yes I will be a little bias but even if he only played two quarters, having one tackle is not being a game changer. I again stated he obviously didn't have to be cause they won big. I'm just saying I wasn't impressed from what I saw. Obviously the game was over early and he really didn't have a reason to be a game changer. Not bashing him or his play in the game. Just stated he might have had an off night, did not care cause the score, because our O-line played really well and took him out of the game. Not saying he couldn't have dominated, just saying he didn't...

Actually we are. Lol

No offense dude, what I was saying is even though your ranked that I don't think that you guys are even though you guys will go far in the playoffs. I said I think Bearden is better but I wasn't sure if they were in the same classification....

The point was the fact that you even tried to make excuses and insinuate that the #1 player in the state and a 5* recruit is overrated is hilarious after your team lost 56-0, especially coming from the kicker for WV (maybe if you had to block Jac...)

And your personal insult at the end of your post was also amusing.

Why even say the bolded parts? There was no need to throw it in there. It makes you look pretty two-faced if you say something like that then try to cover you in the second half of your post. Whatever makes you feel better.

Although, no one has ever thought you to be a knowledgeable person anyway when it comes to the game.....

Volguy is an idiot. Jacques played a little over a quarter and didnt have to do anything i mean the first play of the game was a pick 6. WV is a joke

I did not see the game but I can't imagine your O-Line played really well in a 56-0 loss.... That really doesn't make sense to me. I guess that's the mindset of a "Walker Valley" player. Anyways, I have seen Jacques play many of times and believe me he is a game changer. The kid is the heart and soul of Ooltewah's defense. When they need a big play, he is always there to make it. He wouldn't be rated a "**** - *****" athlete if he wasn't a game changer.

LOL bearden?!?! no Ootlewah would wear them out!

Seriously, Bearden got straight up wrecked by Maryville who is way down this year.

Ooltewah would molest them.

The only teams I really think would challenge them off the top of my head are Farragut, Riverdale, Alcoa, and maybe a couple others.

Oakland is an alright football team they might be able to compete with them.

Oakland would compete and Ensworth. We scrimmaged Farragut and idk how good they are. We wore them out last year.
