'10 TN DE Jacques Smith

hahahahahah
Thats so terrible

If our team somehow manages to win next week, I'm fairly sure we play at Ooltewah in the first round of the playoffs, so I'll try to get out there.

Haha good luck beating ootlewah if you couldn't beat us :)

If we can completely dominate Catholic at every facet of the game, we at least have a shot at anybody IMO.

But yeah, I'm not expecting much if we do end up beating West anyways.

that punt was the most terrible play of football I've ever witnessed. It was pretty much as bad as Ainge vs. LSU in '05.

They showed Jacques in the stands right after that second fumble. I'll have to rewind things at some point to see if I can make anyone else out.

Apparently Jac has been suspended for tomorrow's playoff game for a fight during practice. What say ye Ooltewah crew?

On Jacquez Smith:
It's like this. He had an altercation with a sophomore player on the practice field tuesday. He belted a kid pretty hard. He's been suspended for one game. He will miss the Faragut game. If there is another game, he will be back. Tennessee has been apprised of the situation and are not pulling an offer. They are standing behind this kid. Jacquez is pretty tore up about what happened. He's not a thug. He's a young kid who needs some male influence in his life. Please don't rumor monger in cyberspace about this kid and this situation.

Here's the Jac excerpt from X's article..

He may have really the hurt the kid...hence the suspension. You can't go around crippling teammates and expect to get the brandon Spikes treatment. This is a mistake that EVERY young man makes. I bet there's not more than a handful of us who have never gotten in a scrap as a HSer. Hate for his team, but this is part of being a young man.

Yeah, I feel really bad for Jac. Everything that has come out about him has said nothing shy of him being a really great kid. Hate to see him end his HS career like this, as most think they can't beat Farragut without him.

This will be a situation that he will learn from and become a better person because of though.
