'10 TN OL James Stone

He took an official to LSU and has one set up to ND. I'm pretty sure he was in Knoxville this weekend for an unofficial...

Hopefully all the OL recruits that come infro visits can see that there is a huge need for their services.

GVX reported that Stone was at the game Saturday. It's a good sign that he came, but I just hope he didn't get a bad impression.

Thanx for the info, UT is probably in good shape with this guy. Bama I think will back off once they land Arie IMO. I believe ND is maybe UT's biggest competition since ND has a great track record in recruiting TN.

I've been fairly close to James Stone's recruitment throughout and i've never gotten much of a Tenn. vibe from him or his coaches. I still think it's an Alabama-Notre Dame battle there. If TN makes that happen i would be very surprised.

- Barton Simmons...

I dont think he is high on our board. He will play guard in college but I have been completely unimpressed by him this year.

I think Stone is down the board right now. With Cullen, James, Green, and probably Moses all looking possible right now, I would suspect Stone to be below all them.

Stone rated his visit to ND as a 7 out of 10...

It looks like he will be in Tuscaloosa tomorrow on an unofficial to watch the Vols and Tide as well...

Did he go to the USC-ND game? It seemed like they had a pretty solid atmosphere. I'm glad he didn't like it though. I want him for the fact that Bama doesn't get him and he stays in state. I would like to play keep away.

I think both of those schools are looking at better players and he will get left on the side of the road.
