Jacques Smith will be all in his ear Friday night because they are going to be going head to head. Hopefully, he (Smith) will drop a simple V,B :rock: and Stone will give in. I think if anyone can convince him it is Jacques. I think I remember something a long time ago when Smith committed that he said he was going to try to get Stone when they played each other this year, but I could be mistaken.

Ive been under the impression lately Stone was between Bama and UT, with ND an outside shot. I was reading Mike Farrels column and he says he expects it to come down to Bama and Auburn, what? Where did AU come from?

LSU has jumped into the mix for Nashville Maplewood offensive lineman James Stone, and he visited Baton Rouge this past weekend. His only other scheduled visit is to Notre Dame for the weekend of Oct. 16, and it's unclear whether he'll take other official visits. He has been to Alabama and Auburn numerous times, and any trip to Tennessee is an easy one. Some think this will come down to Auburn and Alabama in the end, but don't count out the Irish, the Vols or LSU. A decision following the Iron Bowl wouldn't be a stunner.
