'10 TN OL James Stone

Right on, seems everyone is confused as far as he goes...

That's completely untrue. Stone never dropped us. For some reason his coach is communicating to the media and he doesn't have the slightest clue what is really going on with James' recruitment.

Like I said before and in my recruiting update, listen to what Stone says -- discount anything from his coach.
it wasn't from his coach as far as i can tell.

I said it a month ago and I will say it again. I believe it will be Vandy or Notre Dame. This kid is very quite and no one really knows. I do think that he likes Bama but the fact that they are slow playing him makes me think Vandy will get him in the end. He really values academics and it is close to home.

I really think he ends up somewhere else in the end...I think us signing 6 other Olineman will scare him away.

Bama, Auburn and Vandy round out his Top 3...per Rivals. I know, not the most reliable or up-to-date source. However, he does a visit scheduled to each school this month.

It was vandy, stanford, alabama, auburn, and he dropped stanford, and added Tennessee.

yeah this guy is a beast, i went to camp with this guy like 2 years ago and he looks a lot bigger than 6'5 up close he comes to UT he'll start his freshman year

Saw him play 3 times this year. He is an exceptional run blocker but that is it. I hate to dissagree with you but he is a 2 year work in progress and is a serious redshirt candidate.

He will be left on the outside looking in. If he wants to be a VOL waiting till NSD will be to late for him. JMO:zeitung_lesen:

Supposedly Auburn has told him that he cannot take his OV on the 29th because they don't have room for/ interest in him any more. I can't confirm this but that is the rumor around here.

I find that extremely hard to believe, but if true, great news for us.

I dont find it hard to believe. They are very close to reaching their limit this year.

I thought they were at 24 instead of 28. I was thinking of Alabama. Yeah they are very close to there limit even if they do back sign 3 which I think is allowed depending on prior years class. Still good news for us.
