'10 TN OL James Stone

This is and always has been a Bama-UT battle. Auburn being out doesn't help us too much IMO.

Hopefully Bama is nearing their limit as well. They are at 24, and they signed 27 and 32 in the previous two classes. We obviously have plenty of room.

I thought I heard someone say they have a few (3) greyshirts from last year as well, if so, they could only take 1 more if I'm not mistaken.

All three greyshirts from last season will back count. We only brought in 22 players last season that count against the 2009 class. It looks like we will take 3 more players for this class. Two spots that are being held are for J Stone and Arie. The third spot right now looks to be for C Smith or C Jones. Calvin is visiting this weekend and Saban just did an in home visit with C Jones (LB) this week. T I think our chances are better with Smith but again nothing is a definite until Feb 3rd. We will have atleast 2 from this class to greyshirt. One will be due to an injury this fall.

I think he ends up at FSU, but apparantly Saban's visit has him thinking. Also watch out for UF with him. Apparantly CUM and all the recruits are putting a full court press on him and it looks that he will visit them before NSD.

He is a Nole legacy, but lately he and his dad have both been quoted as saying they are open to him going somewhere other than FSU.

never thought id ever say this but i like you two bama fans. your avatar and info mixed with tidewarriors info make you guys ok! :good!:

OK, get rid of the avatar......

I became a Tide fan for a second!.....:eek:lol:

Metal and heart show during tough times. Those willing to take on a challenge and are confident they can make a difference will commit!

No way he goes to FSU! Academics are very important to him and FSU isn't exactly outstanding in that category! It's between UT, Bama, Auburn, and possibly Vandy.

......unless your talking about Christian Jones ...I'm confused!

STAY ON TOPIC! THIS IS STONE'S THREAD!

He's talking about Jones.

Like I have been saying for awhile, anything that says that Stone is not interested in Tennessee is coming from his coach who Stone is trying to distance himself from. Listen to what Stone says.

It's Bama, UT and Auburn right now in that order. UT is close and this visit could put them over the top. Stone's interest in UT never waned, but the chances of landing him now are better than they were a month ago.

We won't know until Signing Day.

Bama fan and notorious alcoholic. Not a quality individual from everything I've heard. I hope he reads this too -- the dude needs help.
