Rico is pretty darn good, if only he made that crucial hit on Tebow to bring up 4th down..

You read my mind. Plus i've seen him whiff on a few tackles he should have made including that one in particular. Going for the hit instead of wrapping up. No way he should have missed that tackle.

Any reason why? I was really hoping we could pick up our recrutiment on him I think he would fit nicely at UT.

Why do these kids take january visits? Cause they can't see game day atmosphere or anything like that....

The nation’s third ranked OLB prospect, Corey Nelson, has been rumored to be wavering for some time on his commitment to Texas A&M. The schools in the picture are Tennessee and Stanford. Stanford seems to have a shot, with Tennessee being a long shot, since they just jumped into the picture. However, it doesn’t look good for the Vols, and it doesn’t seem to get any better.

The 5 star prospect was scheduled to take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend but it has been canceled. A source close to the Tennessee program says that, “the flight times and arrangements couldn’t be scheduled so it has been pushed back to the Vanderbuilt game”, and that has been confirmed.

If he was such a connected guy, you'd think he would know how to spell "Monte" and "Vanderbilt."

lol at the hate for Scout. They can't help they are dominating VQ for news the past few weeks. If not for 77 and 53, the VQ would be dead...

I sure am glad he told us when Nelson was going to make it back in and why he couldn't come because Brent Hubbs sure as hell wasn't gonna put any info out there, that's for sure...

Haters gonna hate...

IMO it just seems like Hubbs and his staff are so afraid to put out bad info that they only put stuff out there when they're 100 percent sure about it. They probably hear a lot of the same stuff the scout guys do they just don't have the balls to post it cause they're probably afraid people are gonna get pissed if it turns out not to be true.

I think what Hubbs does is smart. He has built a solid rep for doing what he does. Rivals just needs some guys who post the more aggressive stuff. As a reader on here and not there, I do see that scout guys get stuff out first but sometimes are wrong. When Hubbs says it then it is gold.

I agree jmva except on JUCO recruits. I think Bryant has a much better connection to the JUCOs especially in Miss. But yea, they do have the mostly the same info I'm sure. I wish they would give us more. But I'd say people will always cry about something- info turning out to be wrong, spelling words wrong, etc...

But really, every bit of new info has come from Scout recently...

We had this discussion today on VQ. I'm paying $10 a month, and I want all of the info I can get- rumors, opinions, thoughts, facts, etc. Ya know? I mean, if you know it to be true, say it. If it is just a rumor or a hunch, say it. I like hearing everything I can about UT football and recruiting...

The posters on VQs board is where all the info is coming from. There are some real knowledgeable dudes on there. The board always cracks me up too. I don't think Scout's board will ever come close to VQs...

Rob Lewis is killing it in basketball recruiting though. Dude is solid...
