Same here, I wouldn't lose sleep over losing Heaps if Scroggins comes here...Both are quality players and We honestly can't lose with either.

What's more likely is that they trying to arrange a package deal.

For example, they go to Heaps and ask what it will take to get him to UT. He tells them I want some good receivers and a couple of offensive lineman. Then they go to the receivers and they say, I want a good quarterback and a chance to earn playing time as a freshman. Then he goes to the offensive lineman and they say they want filet mignon every day.

So Orgeron says, OK. Filet mignon is no problem and he gets the offensive linemen. The tricky part is getting the QB and the WR's. Someone has to jump first. Somehow a conference call is arranged with Jake Heaps, Demarco Cobbs and Markeith Ambles. They make a deal and the Vol Nation goes wild.

Easier said than done.

I'm not sure Hubbs is right about Heaps imho. I'm not bashing BH, but it seems like Bryant on Scout has a better relationship with Heaps than anyone on VQ. Jake seems to be angry with the Rivals guys...

I've got the same vibe.

And honestly, Hubbs generally isn't right with his predictions, even though he does get us good info.

I kinda wish we had someone like nevedabuck who you basically know that when he says something, it's true, just mark it down.

Help me out folks, isn't Heaps a morman and won't he be going away after 2 years, well, for 2 years, etc? If so why waste so much time and energy?

Mormons don't have to take the Pilgrimage. It is encouraged that they do it sometime in their life. So, wih that being said he can do it anytime he likes or never do it.

dont believe this for a second...we are in it. Reaves wouldnt be in Washington if the kid had already eliminated us.
