And the idiot on rivals doesn't really have any cred at all, its really just his educated guess. He posted this last week:

1. He has done more interviews on the TOS than any other school.
2. Speaks glowingly about the Vols, the Kiff-ster, and our offense.
3. He has visited, and likes the ville.
4. He is clearly our coaches top priority. Kiffin has been on him since Day 1.
5. Kiffin feels confident about Heaps. He has not called Scroggins yet. That is pretty clear that either he doesn't think Scroggins is that great or he feels pretty confident about someone else.
6. He is considering not taking his mission. Which gives me the feeling BYU is not in the mix that much.
7. Sark-Nasty is putting the full-court press on Scroggins.

Listen, I know i dont have legit sources, but I am the smartest guy on this board, bar-none. My analytical skills just wow you, admit it.

No matter what happens with Heaps, I can think of a few Top QB's that have come from the SEC in the past few years and signed huge contracts with the teams that drafted them. If the kid wants to compete, he will come here.

I'm not buying into this one yet. I will be ecstatic if he does, but don't expect him to make a commitment yet imo.

That list applies to almost every school that has given him an offer. He also goes to as many UW practices that he has time for, and he has BYU's entire offensive playbook memorized and probably a few others as well.

And by the way, many men have the name Jessie. Just ask Rick Springfield.

Plus, if it upsets you that much that people might think you have a "gay name", your issues run way deeper than just a name. Jessie isn't even that effete of a name - if you were called Sapphire Q. Twinklebottomz, then maybe you'd have a point.

Brent Hubbs seems to think it will be either Scroggins, Hendrix, or Montana coming here. Although the longer we wait to offer Montana the harder it gets for us with him. He's maintaining that he doesn't have a good feeling about Heaps. I think it's either gonna be Scroggins or Hendrix...I'm hoping for Scroggins if it's not Heaps.

Problem with Scroggins is that it's a package deal with his two buddies. One of which is SEC caliber.

I could see Hendrix or Hutson as the other QB.

It's hard for me to see Montana coming here, but there are some things in play that I can't rule it out.

Agree on Montana...plus, I think CLK looking for someone to come in and play right away and people are saying he's got redshirt written all over him.

We keep talking about how if we land Heaps the WR's and other players are sure to follow... maybe it would serve us well in the race with Heaps if we were able to land someone like Prater, Ambles, etc. FIRST to give him the incentive of having playmakers from his year to come in and throw the ball to.... a nice OL committ or two might help too....

yes i know the coaches are working hard to get players this is just another theory lol
