It was a legs contest. Apparetly he has curvy thighs and muscular, yet sleek calves with a light coating of hair. Won hands down.

"Wave yo hands in the aiya" and I'm the clown? Read back 4 pages and didn't see anything that addressed. Sorry that I can't spend enough time here to have 30k posts and all. Some of us haveto get out and make a living, but I'll bet mommy an daddy's basement is real comfy though.

If I missed it sorry, but some folks take their internet musings far to seriously. Didn't see anything about his performance at this lates camp. Again, my bad for not having all day to read every single post.

Scroggins was invited to USC's QB camp, and Carroll said whichever prospect wins that competition will get a scholarship offer.
Scroggins sounded like he was very interested, seeing that the campus is only 20 min. away from where he lives.

There's a lot of noise right now that the coaches are moving on from Heaps. They don't think he is coming to UT. Sad, given the impressive show he just put on at the combine. He will likely move up to #1 in Rivals QB rankings.

That's what I was thinking. Why would they continue pursuing players that were already commited, like last year, but give up on a guy that is not committed...esp. considering that the prospect is highly touted and plays a position of need? I guess maybe if they were told it wasn't happening regardless of how hard they continued recruiting him, but I still doubt they give up.

BTW, this board seems to be full of jacka--es.

I'm hearing heaps will committ to someone by week's end and that cal is still in the running. my guy wont name a leader at this point. edit: hinder just visited to cal last weekend and most were expecting a commit. the fact he didn't might indicate heaps is still interested.

Look at USCs depth chart at QB. They have 3 top flight QBs. Their depth at that position is unmatched by anyone in the country. They signed their QB of the future last year with the #1 QB in the nation, Matt Barkley. If Scroggins goes to USC, he has faced the fact that he will not be playing any football anytime son. I can't see him going there...

history tells us that carroll wont sit an experienced starter which corp (sophmore) or barklay (freshman) will be by the time scroggins will get there. baring corp going pro in 2010 (questionable at best) he'll be sitting for at least 2 seasons.

that is USC's MO. They sit a lot of kids for a season or two.. Many only play mop up type snaps or special teams for a year or two to three.. they been bringing in QBs ever since Carroll has been there.

My point is, be no surprise to me if Scroggins ended up going there....

You are exactly right Lord Vader. Scroggins is a competitor. He wants to play. He will not go to USC. We may not get him, but I just don't see him going to a school where he has to sit for 2-3 years. No way!

anything is possible, but i'd argue since leinert they've never had a young qb who looked to be there that long (and they didn't even really recruit well at qb till leinert was a junior). unless we really see corp/barklay play poorly i'd be shocked to see them get a top-10 qb. edit: and also there's the ncaa investigation. are you going to go somewhere that could be on probation without knowing you will have a good shot at starting soon?
