Actually the sad part is that in Hart's rush to hire his good friend, Forbes was never even considered and ETSU snapped him up in a heartbeat. If RBarnes doesn't produce, he could well end up being our coach so I wouldn't diss him too much. Tyndall won't be here but some SEC ad's have him on speed dial.As I thought....Forbes is your new Tyndall.
Get ready boys, this joker will soon not shut up about Forbes after his boy Tyndall is put out to pasture.

"Steve Forbes, East Tennessee State: Forbes won 24 games in his first season as a head coach in Division I and should be a perennial contender in the SoCon. A tenacious recruiter when he was an assistant at both Tennessee and Wichita State, Forbes knows how to find players. The Bucs currently have three players on their roster Peter Jurkin (Indiana), Hanner Mosquera-Perea (Indiana), and Tevin Glass (Wichita State) that were all recruited to play at a significantly higher level before Forbes lured them to East Tennessee State."As I thought....Forbes is your new Tyndall.

You are so uninformed. With different admin, we could have hired Pearl. It was up to them.Forbes has about as much chance to coach at Tennessee as Pearl does. Just another delusion.
Follow up to uniformed. He "lured them" because they couldn't hack it at a major program.

After years away, repentant Bruce Pearl could be jewel for Tennessee - CBSSports.com
Then you follow that up with we can't hire the assistant who got one year because of the head coach. Geez! You guys!
Give you a little more insight. If you think the NCAA didn't do the same thing to Pearl and UT they did to Tyndall, check this out!
Haith, Pearl lie to NCAA, but Haith gets 5 games and Pearl show cause? - CBSSports.com
I take you at your word. I don't intend to waste my time searching. My point is there is nothing that prevents it from being done especially in the case of an assistant coach who received his based on what the head coach had done and not what he had done. It's really just common sense. Look for Steve Forbes to come to Tennessee with a new chancellor and AD if he is available when Rick Barnes departs. But, unfortunately, since we missed and didn't even consider him to replace Tyndall, another Power 5 school will probably sign him before then and once again Tennessee will be left holding the bag.Name a single coach who received a show-cause and then was hired back at the school where he received it. Ignoring a question doesn't make it go away.
