10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

What I want to do is to be able to cheer the basketball Vols as they compete in important games just like every other fan. It is terribly disappointing to think that is years away. Aside from my alma mater, I want them to win every game for the kids' sake. These are young men being placed in the most pressure packed situation of their lives all across the country and success on the court is important to them being successful on the academic side. They deserve the best and its disgraceful when the fans turn on them like the did the football team. Those kids heard the boos and the football team was fighting their hearts out. I do not want that happening in basketball.

Therefore you are a fake, band wagon fan. A real fan will cheer for the Vols always, not just "years away" when they are good enough for you to climb on board for the ride.

How you get I will not cheer for them out of my statement, I do not know. As a matter of fact, I said just the opposite. "I want them to win every game for the kids' sake". Hardly looking for an argument here. Just stating what the general consensus seems to be. It's gonna be a rough year for these youngsters.

And the same thing can happen in basketball. Some of the kids said they heard the boos and that motivated them to do better and they did. By the way, so did the coaches. Fans are so fragile. The boos are in the minority but they can still be heard. Many can't deal with losing. It's all shown by the attendance. Happens everywhere.

Attendance? We're better than most in both sports.
Fans are fans. You've got good and bad where ever you go.
Our football fanbase is one of the best in the country.

You want TN to fail because you instead worship the cheating ex-coach.

Your own statement is that you are years away before being able to cheer for them.

No wonder we have trouble communicating. How do you spin those two statements? I said it may be years before they are competing with the rest of the SEC again in basketball. That is my opinion. It has nothing to do with me cheering for my Tennessee Vols who ,by the way, I cheer for more than my alma mater Bucs. Simple question? How do you live in Tennessee all your life and not be a Tennessee fan? Your statement makes no sense to me.

And yet you gleefully have been taunting everyone here about about we're going to lose to ETSU and Chattanooga and you've basically said you can't wait to say "I told you so!"

So the rest of your post is pure bullsh## because you try to preach about all that after the way you've acted towards the THIS team.

I can honestly say that I've seen an effort in his last few posts to get off the conspiracy lunacy and talk about some sane subjects.
But I try not to hold on to grudges and that's just me. To each um us his own.

Well you're free to do what you want, but him acting like an assclown for 2 years isn't going to just vanish because he actually tried to not be an assclown for a few posts.

If he would admit he's been at least 90% wrong on this Tyndall stuff and admit he's been a conspiracy theory nutjob about it and agree to pretty much drop it, then that would be an actual start.

I have not been wrong. The cake is baking.

Heard Dt on radio this morning and he said as soon as the NCAA rules on appeal they are ready to proceed to federal court?

Exactly what I have said. The NCAA scam will be exposed once the parties involved including Howard and the head of the NCAA Infractions Committee are no longer protected and have to testify. I really don't think the NCAA wants to go there and go up against the best sports attorney in the country and have their dirty laundry exposed. We'll see.

maybe they give him 12 years instead of 10 --- heck they can give him 2 and he will still never get another P5 job

We'll let the forum decide what the situation really is. Here is the current update from DT himself. This is serious stuff and not for joking. As he says, the NCAA has committed a crime. His interview starts at the 23:30 mark. Notice the Pat Summitt tribute. Twitter handle: @three4themoney

Here's the Sound Cloud link. There is also a RB Tennessee media days segment.

I assume you know that if this goes federal that Dave Hart and the University of Tennessee are gonna be right in the middle of it as a state actor.

:eek:lol:

Dave Hart won't be a UT employee by the time this goes to court...if it does.

Again, your loyalty to a cheating coach over the University and the players you claim to support is mind boggling.

GBO!!!

Funny that with all the Pitino news the last few days, you'd think the whole Tyndall affair would be referenced if it was such a huge story.

And yet, not a peep.

That's because Pitino will get a 9 game coach control suspension just like Calhoun and Boeheim and Brown. Tennessee is their doormat. You don't publicize stuff that's swept under the rug. It's all explained in the audio link.

You don't know that. You think that, but you don't know that.
