10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

Do you honestly enjoy wasting this much of your life arguing over this?

I'm not arguing. It appears that the only thing that I'm accomplishing is ruffling your feathers. You really want more seasons like Rick's first here?

BTW, I only spend about an hour or less, on average, each day at this forum. How about you?

I am going to end this Buzz and I are the same person once and for all. My year off was not voluntary. Ya'll succeeded in driving me out of your forum. I was evidently too adamant in my defense of Donnie Tyndall way before it was known he was innocent. I knew it then just as much as I know it now but no one else did. I went to another board because I could no longer post on this one. I supposedly had a lifetime ban but must have got my show cause reduced from lifetime to one year. Just setting the stage for DT which seems appropriate. I was innocent also.

This argument makes it even less believable that you aren't the same poster. SD is banned, therefore Buzz runs with the Tyndall is Jesus and Barnes is Judas rants.

That is the perfect depiction of some of you jokers. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meh I didn't mean any offense really. I participate in a lot of different types of forums where people have alts and deny them continuously. Your posting style is pretty obvious. Just sayin.

If the SD handle was actually banned for his constant spamming of all things Tyndall, then why the hell is he allowed to post again? Even if the ban was just a year, since he's been back he's been just as bad if not worse, so why hasn't he been put down for good?

It makes no sense that he's allowed to keep going if he was already punished for the same stuff he's currently doing.

Give me one "Brainiac" who can answer this question. If I live in Bristol and Buzz lives in Middle Tennessee, how can we be the same person. Waiting for your brilliant answers.

Actually, this is an improvement to the real looks and intelligence of all the Bozos who have had temper tantrums over the possibility that they may be wrong about Donnie's fate.

Since you nicknamed Coach Tyndall "turtle", I guess you are still upset that he beat you in that race, Bugs.

Do you also realize that our current coach is the first to have an overall losing record here since Buzz Peterson?

He inherited a dumpster fire because your boy got his ass fired. Nobody throws a tantrum but you and SD, especially when asked to provide a single document that you claim to quote. But, yeah, go ahead and think that. He still is no longer at Tennessee, never will be back at Tennessee, and quite possibly will never coach in the NCAA again. So good riddance to him.

You may be right about Donnie's future, but as Yogi once said, "it's not over till it's over".

And the dumpster fire was created by the revolution of Cuonzo's players, who left in masse when he bolted for Cal after UT fans emphatically said that they didn't want him as their coach anymore.

Donnie then had to go out and recruit what was left to recruit, after most had already made their college decision. He was still able to cobble up enough guys to field a team that finished with an overall .500 record, including some very miraculous comeback wins. He did his job while trying to find out what his lying assistant coach had done behind his back at S. Miss. He left Barnes with more than he got when he arrived here. Thank God for Josh Richardson, who showed real class by keeping his commitment to the Volunteers.

Barnes had more time to recruit when he arrived here and ended up signing only 2 qualified players. This was all his fault, so stop trying to alibi for him. Now, in his second year, outside of Lamonte Turner, he has only been able to get 3* players for his second team.

Why UT bb fans slobber all over themselves about RB is because they believe that he will sign multiple 5* players like his early days at Texas. If he still has that ability, then why in the world would the Longhorns want to part with him?

There are really only about 2 posters on this board who come close to slobbering over Barnes.
Some like myself think he was a mistake hire, but realize he'll probably finish his contract.
others are 'give him his chance' types.
The slobberers rarely post because they can't stand the realists.

I don't know about that. Seems like I have read many posts where members here have said wait till he gets his own players and at least he is gonna clean up the mess that Donnie created here.

The only person that I know of that has been investigated by the NCAA for improprieties here has been Bruce Pearl for encouraging BBQ attendees to lie about that event. Are there any other illegal activities that have gone on HERE that I am not aware of?

I agree that the 2nd highlighted statement is 100% valid.

Don't hold your breath! You may soon be saying the exact same thing about RB. He'll be testifying he didn't tell Dave he would take the job before Tyndall was fired. Could be lying to the NCAA and you know what that means. Tyndall proved he did not lie to them about anything, period!!

No, I'm just honestly curious. I haven't even been one to argue with you that much as others. I'm not as invested in the UT coaching fiasco.

But you and the others have spent way too long arguing over Cuonzo, Donnie, and Barnes...and I'm wondering if you actually enjoy doing it? Because you've been gnawing on the same bone for soooooo long.

So what? "Yeah, sure, if there's an opening, I'll take it. That'll save your department money on a search firm and lengthy process. But of course you'd have to have an opening."

There's nothing incriminating about that whatsoever. You have nothing in regards to Barnes saying "Fire him and give it to me", which is what you're implying through all this garbage spewing from your mouth.
