10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

"The NCAA could convict a ham sandwich if it wanted to." Anonymous NCAA staff member
Our position is that the factual findings of the Committee on Infractions should be set
aside on the following grounds: (1) that the factual findings are clearly contrary to the
information presented to the panel; (2) the factual findings of the panel do not constitute a
violation of the NCAA Constitution and Bylaws; (3) there were procedural errors and but for the
errors, the panel would not have made the findings or conclusion. Additionally, the Panel abused
its discretion when it imposed upon Tyndall the maximum show-cause penalty and 50% percent
suspension during his first year of employment at the University of Tennessee.

You have told the one who keeps asking you to show the document that has been presented to the NCAA appeals board all that he, or anyone else needs to know, by what you have said in the above post. Even though this is not the document word for word, it is a good synopsis of what the document included. You may present the links to the radio interviews that Donnie has given and if the ones who have made their minds up, without knowing the opposite point of view, can listen to them and find out exactly what the plaintiff is contending concerning the punishment handed down by the NCAA.

Until Coach Donnie Tyndall is given a chance to refute the punishment, even if it should go through federal court, then I stand by him bc the NOA issued by the COI does not show to me any conclusive proof that he has done anything wrong.

I support you for continuing this discussion in this thread which had its genesis due to what went on at Donnie's previous place of employment and he was a University of Tennessee head coach.

People on this board sure had plenty to say about Coach Johnny Majors and Coach Phil Fulmer long after they had been fired and their voices were not muffled!

Telling an officer the information on your driver's license is not the same as giving him your license.

Not a hard concept buddy.

"I don't need to provide it, it's there. Just trust me. I know it's there. It's been there the whole time. You don't need to read it because I'm the best and I know."

That's exactly what you sound like. And as VSF said, telling an officer/judge what's on your license or any other record is not the same as actually showing it to them. I'd love to see you go to any judge with "it's there, trust me. I can't show it, but it's there."

The fact that you lump Tyndall (a sleaze who's gotten in trouble and put UT into this mess) with Majors and Fulmer, guys who gave over 50 years combined to the university shows how pathetic and ridiculous that you are.

Not only that, but Majors and Fulmer could both argue they were legitimately screwed over in their firings. But even with both of those UT legends, if the NCAA had come to UT and said they were going to give either a long show cause, UT still would have sent them packing.

Again, not a hard concept.

I fail to see what mess Donnie Tyndall put UT into. Please explain! This should be a riot (laughingly speaking, that is).

Could you possibly believe the mess that UT was put into falls on Dave Hart's shoulders instead of Donnie Tyndall's?

It has been some time since the first question was asked w/o an answer from you!

Notice the original post time and the edit time.

No. If Tyndall hadn't lied about the possibility of issues at Southern Miss, then Hart either never would've hired him, or wouldn't have had a reason to fire him.

Hart hired the guy. I don't get why you think that Hart would've willingly said "I just didn't like him after I hired him, so that's why I let all this happen." He has too much of an ego, like every AD, to do that. If there was a chance to save his hire and not look like a dumbass, he would've done that. But he had no choice.

You are quick to criticize Senior Drill about the document that he has spoken of, however, why don't you tell me how you know what was in Hart's mind when he hired Coach Tyndall and again when he fired him?

How do you know that Tyndall knew anything about what lyin' Adam Howard had done behind his back? Don't you think that Howard would have been so angry that Donnie fired him over the allegations, if he knew CDT had been involved in the academic fraud as well, that he would have ratted on him in November 2014 instead of waiting until he was given immunity to lie? How did Howard even know that he was gonna receive immunity in the first place?

Seems like it is common sense that this is not a cut and dried situation and anyone who makes a judgement about Tyndall based on what the NOA said may really be prejudiced. Are you prejudice? This last question goes for your little buddies who keep giving you likes, as well!

Yes, that is it. Everyone who disagrees with you about Dirty Donnie is prejudiced against him because he is short, fat, and white. It has nothing at all to do with the the fact that he is a lying cheat who got busted. Glad you could solve the mystery for everyone.

The bolded would be common sense; also looking at the known facts.

See the "other side" isn't dreaming up crap based on super secret documents that we refuse to link to, or based on the wild rumblings in our heads, or our undying devotion to particular person.

It's beyond hilarious the way you attempt to turn the tables with your accusations of "prejudice", because it's once again either your own projection or you just attempting to be clever by using the "I'M NOT THE BIASED ONE, YOU'RE THE BIASED ONE" method of defense.

Why don't you answer all of the questions in the first two paragraphs of my post if you can? Don't expect to get any answers here since, like your big buddie, you can't!

First, I have no idea what Hart was thinking even considering hiring Donnie, except the possibility of getting him cheap.
Second, Donnie had the opportunity to be honest with Hart, yet he chose not to do so. He knew what he had going on, he just was hoping and praying it would stay buried.
Thirdly, as the head coach it was his responsibility to know what his assistants were doing. Why did Donnie feel the need to log back in to his USM email account and delete emails he knew were going to be used in the investigation? The same reason Richard Nixon deleted portions of the White House tapes. He knew he was guilty.
It all comes down to being a man and accepting responsibility. Too many people in the world today blame others for their problems. That is exactly what Donnie has done. Heck, if CBP just straight up confesses at the beginning, yes that is my house and they are at a cookout, he is very likely still coaching in Knoxville and we would not have had the embarrassment of Dirty Donnie. Your love affair with DT is sad and quite frankly a little disturbing. That, and the fact that your split personas as Buzz/Senior are very much in the vain of the character is the movie Sybil. How many more personalities are lurking in your sad little mind?

He found a bargain, maybe he could catch lightning in a bottle, believed the guy when he said that he was hiding nothing, 6 months later **** hits the fan, he stands by him believing the drivel that he spewed about it being nothing, NCAA proves him wrong, and then Hart has to bite the bullet and admit he was wrong with the hire.

First of all, junior, I don't care what you call me! Usually wimps or adolescents resort to name calling bc they don't get their way. That goes for all who have no other recourse.

I have already asked the question which you have not answered! How do you know that Donnie Tyndall lied to Dave Hart when he asked him if he knew of any matter that might cause a conflict with the NCAA? I don't know if you are old enough to have children or you do have children, but human nature should tell anyone who has half a brain that children cover up or lie when confronted with the possibility that they have done something not permitted.

So, how do you know Adam Howard didn't cover up the academic fraud that he was responsible for committing? He would have obviously been stupid to not implicate Tyndall when he got fired in the first place. No, it took the NCAA to give him a sweetheart deal in order for him to lie about Donnie being a part of the misconduct. What proof do you have to say that this scenario is untrue or what proof does the NCAA have to say the same thing?

You must believe that the NCAA is perfect and would never tell "lil' ole you" something that was untrue! :loco:

Finally, it was Rosemary Woods who erased the Watergate tapes and Nixon never knew what the ones who broke into the Democratic Headquarters had done until he was informed of their actions. He then conspired to keep the incident under wraps, which made him a felon.

Donnie says that he deleted emails bc they contained personal data that he did not want to be exposed bc of their sensitivity. There is a helluva difference between personal and professional data(maybe you aren't smart enough to realize that).

Hart offered the job to Mike White and was turned down and now he is at Florida. One thing I fault Tyndall with is that he didn't have the same foresight and signed with such a sleaze.

Why didn't Hart offer the job to Barnes at that time? lol

Yeah, Tyndall covered up and lied about it, like a little child. Your words, bolded, right there.

Ironic that BuzzDrill is calling Nixon a felon (despite never being tried or convicted and was pardoned) yet argues that Donnie is innocent.

Yeah, Tyndall covered up and lied about it, like a little child. Your words, bolded, right there.

The bolded words were directed at Adam Howard. I reckon I'm gonna have to draw you a picture, sonny. The only person asked about the academic fraud was "little adam", if you have forgotten already!
