I thought so too (although I might be biased since he's probably coming to UT :)).

He was killing it in the video. He had great pursuit, was instinctual, and was a hard hitter. Looks like a stud doing that against FL competition...

I don't understand all the talk about grayshirting or dropping Carson. He is probably the most underrated recruit we have, and he will be very good, especially as a NT in a 3/4 defense. Carson is a recruit that we will be glad to have here.

If Dawson wants to come do You think aj will be moved to de? He reminds me a lot of Marlon walls and that's because he's a guy that has the frame to put on more weight.

+1... he is a guy people will fall in love with at ut. After Carson goes through Wiley and gets the bad weight off, he is going to be a dominant force at ut.

Sounds like we have a great shot at getting Paul. I hope we get Dawson as well. Not only is he a great LB, but the meltdown on the UK boards would be epic.

This kid should be a 4*, He could be an impact player in the LB rotation right away. the way he diagnoses run or pass is freakish and that is just his junior tape. Even when he bites on Play action he has the lateral speed to chase down the play. It seems he also has an uncanny ablility to figure out where a play is going to go before it fully develops. I hope we get a public trigger pull soon so I can :loco: around my house.

I dont think Carson is really underated. I think he is going to have major weight issues in college as well as staying in football playing shape.

IDK.......Tough to say, but I see your point. However it worked out for Mt. Cody and he was well..........overweight

I was responding to someone else about the greyshirt topic. And where does everyone keep getting this idea that we're going to a 3-4? Just because CNS utilizes it? I never said I didn't want Carson, my earlier post says his stats speak for themselves and the fact he was dropped to a 2* because of one game is BS.

And he most underrated recruit we have, IMO, is clearly Randolph. Kid is a beast. 3* my a**.

Paul wasn’t the only one impressed with Tennessee.

“My mom and dad loved it a lot,” Paul said. “They really liked Coach Dooley a lot.”

“I like Tennessee a lot,” Paul said. “They are very high on my list.”
