But I don't want every recruit from FL, only the ones Florida wants. I don't think Tom Smith was offered by Florida.

He was offered by FUI and Florida Atlantic though.

There are some absolute morons in this fan-base. Tom Smith has been hammered since he committed to us and it's been nothing but the clowns and retards that bash him.

Anyone with a lick of sense knows that he's a solid prosect and his stock is going to rise tremendously between now and signing day.

I don't only want recruits that Florida wants. I see my attempt at humor was lost in translation. I was only hinting at his offer list thus far.... whether Florida offered was meant to seem irrelevant but I guess you can't type sarcasm and make it work properly.

Jose Jose... no. I never said I wanted him. I'd welcome you track back my comments all the way back where I said I wish we'd cut Jose and Williams both out. No lie. Like I said, Jose was one of Kiffin's worst "commits" while he was here.

As far as Meline, I was on the fence. I wasn't sure what position he'd really excel at. I still don't honestly.

Delvin Jones yes. Because I trusted Coach O's talent scouting, which goes back to my point from our previous convo. If Coach O wanted them, I was down with it. I just don't feel like that with....say... Thompson. At least, not yet.

I've only seen Rivals film. I've seen his stats. I know the competition. His film was fairly decent. But I wonder if we're settling on a RB too early. He'd give us 4 RBs. I'm not sure taking him that early was the right move. That's all. He's a solid back... just slow play Smith a little longer IMO.

I saw clips of a guy runnng away from defenses in one of the best HS conferences in the country. He ran through tackles like no one was there. If performing at a high level has anything to do with how good a prospect is... this kid is pretty good and worthy of an offer now, last month, last year, or any other time.

His film being "fairly decent" is a huge understatement.

Everybody in FL says he's about to blow up. Definitely didn't want him going to FSUs camp and dominating there like he did here and us still be slow playing him.

In an article posted on TOS tonight DeBell said that he has not even begun to separate out a leader list, much less make a decision. He indicated it would be a while before he commits to anyone. Just reading that article, it sounds like the rumors are false, at least where DeBell is concerned.
