11 FL OT Zach DeBell (UGA Commit)

My fault, I didn't know you were being sarcastic.

It's cool.... it was my bust. I see how you took it, makes sense.

DeBell + Kerbyson + Richardson + stealing Brandon Shell out of SC + getting Holts out of IN

That'd be perfect. I think the first 3 are pretty likely. Shell and Holts would be great gets by this staff.

We could also take a guy like Xzavier Ward if we are going to take 6 OL.

We don't appear to even be recruiting Shell and Holts is a big longshot.

How would you feel with this class?

Richardson, Kerbyson, DeBell, Posey, and Crowder. and Clear as a TE/OT possibility.

I would be a very happy Vol Fan if we landed this group.

I would be extremely pleased with that OL haul.

Would be a solid OL for a few years. I've said it before but our offense is going to be a force in about 2 years. Just let this OL set up and give Bray a couple years to develop and with our WRs. I'm telling ya.

Left out Crowder... not real big on him myself... but we do need a few true centers.

Well, it's JMO but I think Clear is a TE until proven otherwise. It obviously hinges on his weight when he gets to campus. I just don't see him playing TE if he's around 275-280 and he's almost there now. If he really wants to play TE he'll keep that in check. The Cottams were that big, but they were both like 6'8. Of course, I've yet to see what Dooley considers his ideal TE other than what he had at LA Tech... which isn't the same type of players that he can get here so it's hard to say. Rivera is small, Power is fairly big, and Clear is on the verge of being a huge TE. When we pull Rome it won't really matter.

I think I'd be satisfied overall with that group. I think 6 is the number I'm looking for on OL. To me it's a down year overall on OL as compared to recent years. Shell and Holts are my high-hope prospects. I'm a big fan of those 2 guys.

I would love that, but that would be really hard

I agree, I was saying the samething the other day in one of the other ol threads.

He is.

UT, Clemson, and UGA.

Jay Rome??? You serious?

You serious, Clark?

Rome?

I was talking about DeBell.

Ah, I was confused. I think Bam made a joking reference to Rome signing here, and someone else stated that they thought he was high on Clemson. Then when you answered his question it seemed like you were talking about Rome, which, in turn, confused me.

Dang.

If you haven't looked at this guy's film you should. His quickness stands out. From ESPN today:

High three-star offensive tackle Zach DeBell (Tarpon Springs, Fla.) informed ESPN affiliate Web site IrishSportsDaily.com that Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia, South Florida and Ole Miss currently stand out.

South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Clemson, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Louisville, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Missouri, UCLA, Rutgers, Iowa State, Central Florida and Florida International are among his other offers.

The athletic offensive lineman has posted a 4.98 40-yard dash, 4.5 20-yard shuttle and 24-inch vertical.

His father, Steve, played offensive line for Virginia Tech.
