The people that call into the Finebaum (I know, you don't even have to say anything) show everyday are in love with McCarron (not sure if its homo or not)... If he is as promising as they all make him out to be I can't see why they'd want to take on Mettenberger as well.

Wherever Mettenberger goes, he will be good if he can stay out of trouble. Remember, he had won the starting job over Murray coming out of Spring practice before he got kicked off the team. I think we can all agree, Murray is pretty dang good.

If they call into Finebaum, it's homo. Every Finebaum listener's wet dream is them, Saban, and any Alabama player in a hot tub talking about former national championships.

I know needs come first, but I honestly think it wouldn't hurt to offer Mettenberger. He's the real deal and could immediately contribute, unlike our current QB's. Not saying Bray will not be good, because I think he will be a great QB for Tennessee! Its just that Mettenberger would give us our best chance to compete next year imo.

Finebaum used to be a pro-auburn show back when Tubby was the coach. If Auburn can manage to win the title this year it'll become a balanced show. He just talks up whoever is winning.

Spot on.

Finebaum is, for lack of a better word, a huge whore. When Auburn is losing none of them want to listen to his show so he's all Alabama. Now Auburn people are listening and calling in again so he has to be slightly less biased.

The Sports Animal here in Knoxville said that Bama has now offered Mettenburger. Anyone else hear this?

According to James Bryant, Tennessee is no longer interested in any other QBs because Worley will be enrolling early.
