Only reason I ask is bc my little brother plays at GSU and they are fielding a team this yr and their qb's are trash.....hope Bama doesn't put 72+ points on them in the opener. lol

I did not know that GA State played their opener on Nov 20th because that is when they play UA.

After our schedule in the fall we will need that game for the starters can rest. UF and Penn St home UT, USC, LSU, ARK on the road. Than the next week play the Barn. We will need GA St to get to 10 wins next year.

national quarterback recruit christian lemay (matthews, n.c./butler) named the georgia bulldogs as his "leader" friday during a 6:30 pm press conference at his parents' church, the champion christian center.

Lemay, who deliberately chose not to use the term "commit", plans to graduate from high school in december and enroll early.

He picked georgia over auburn, clemson, notre dame and texas a&m. Other programs including alabama, florida, florida state, lsu, miami-fl, mississippi state, north carolina, oklahoma, tennessee and virginia tech were previously in the mix.

Arizona state, west virginia, wake forest, illinois, maryland, north carolina state and michigan among others also offered the espnu 150 watch list signal-caller.

Lemay completed 170 of 248 attempts (68.5 percent) for 3,296 yards, 44 touchdowns and just two interceptions last fall.

Logan Gray can just go ahead and transfer. Murray and LeMay will keep him glued to the bench if he stays.

I thought they were moving Gray to WR? Does this help us with Nick Marshall? Two #2 ranked QB'S? Wow, but they still smell like #2.

Gray only wants to play QB. And Nick Marshall is probably going to UGA because he can play both football and basketball there.

Marshall can play bball anywhere. He scored over 50 in two of his playoff games. Orange would be his best color. #9 QB would be a 'BIG FISH', sorry, couldn't resist.

Why? Richt may not win the big one but he puts his QB's in the pros. 60% of his starting qb's have at least got drafted not to mention he was qb coach at f$u.

Too bad he got rid of his best bud, ole Willie.

Even though LeMay has " committed ", it's still early, very early.

Him being an EE will press team on his recruitment.

If he de-commits from UGA, I'm not sure where he would end up, I never seen UT as a legit contender.

Obviously don't like seeing him go to UGA, but you have to respect how he gave the verbal while avoiding the word commitment. I presume this is because he is saving that word for the time when he's 100% sure he won't change his mind. Way to go.

Reports are now coming out that Lemay was caught in a compromising position with a female student at his school. The part about his wrongdoing I have read on UGA boards, but papers are only saying misconduct. He meets Monday with the school to discuss what could end up being a 30 day suspension and missing half of his HS senior seaon. What gets me about this situation though is that how he made his announcement at his church which was named after him. Also that him and his family have such strong religous values or said they did during his recruitment and why they commited to UGA because CMR had those same values. I understand that these are just kids that make mistakes but I do not understand the fake premise they promote. I guess UGA will have to live with this one and in NC if a student is suspended they can not make up any work they miss. So Lemay might struggle to pass the fall semester if he is suspended for 30 days, which I think he was trying to be an EE.
