'11 QB NC Christian LeMay

You must hear the word "spread offense" & think it's all the same. When they started using the word "spread", it was about 4 or 5 WR's. Spurrier & the "fun N' Gun",June Jones & the Run N' Shoot",Joe Tiller's(Jim Chaney's) offense at Purdue,Mike Leach at Texas Tech, etc. Colt Brennan came from Hawaii,June Jones was the coach, it was throw, throw, throw,& when in doubt, throw it again.

CUM's spread is totally different. They run it with mobile QB's. The "spread" they use now in high schools everywhere & now in college is almost like an option offense. they do throw it alot more than the wishbone teams do, & they take the snaps from the shotgun. But there hasn't been a QB that's been worth a draft pick come from "running spread."
You said the Titans were the worst team in the NFL. Look who their QB is.Vince Young from the TX "running spread." He is still not the best QB on the team, the only reason he's even playing is because the owner wants him to play.3rd pick in the NFL draft.... conclusion.... major bust. Alex Smith..... bust.... Name me one QB that's been drafted that is worth a damn in the running spread....outside of Drew Brees, name me a qb that's worth a damn in the passing spread.

Andre Ware,David Klingler, Cliff Kingsbury,,etc.etc, everyone of them busts in the NFL..

they are gimmicky offenses & the NFL doesn't run gimmicky offenses very often(outside of Miami, who doesn't have a QB at all)

So when you try to use the "spread" system, make sure it is the same "Spread offense" before you start naming QB's from the spread.

I posted some links from his game on friday on page 11.Then the gator guy showed up.

This thread has turned into a troll-a-thon.

Anyone have any actual information on LeMay? A buddy of mine from NC is a friend of one of his high school asst. coaches. He says he really like the Florida schools. I think he may see what Bridgewater does, or vice versa, and both may actually end up at Florida schools.

I hope that's wrong, just passing on real info because noone else seems to want to.

on rivals he said he liked Tennessee when visited on the Georgia game

If Meyer is so good at producing NFL talent, the why hasnt he corrected Tebows throwing motion? He drops the ball way to low on his throws. It has been mentioned several times during different telecasts that " Tebow WILL NOT be an NFL QB with that low of a throwing motion".

Just from what I've read and heard, I think Bridgewater right now is more likely to end up at Miami over any other Florida school and we would be more likely of the Florida schools to get Lemay. I don't have much info on either though yet and still don't know much about the 2011 class and recruiting yet.

Just made it to the state finals. He had about 400 yards passing and it was a rematch with Independence. Here are some highlights.Highlights: Independence vs. Butler (4AA) | Charlotte News, Weather, Traffic, Sports WCNC.com | High School.Football Friday Night - WBTV 3 News, Weather, Sports, and Traffic for Charlotte, NC-.*PLAYOFFS* Week 4 "Big Game" Highlights: Independence @ Butler - Video - WSOC Charlotte.Need to check out W.Rowan highlights if any of these links have some. They have a 3 star RB KP Parks that has almost 11,000 career rushing yards. He small but good.He is committed to Virginia.

Nick Saban has something kind of important to prepare for, but he's reportedly traveling to North Carolina to hopefully get a commitment from a kid who might be his next quarterback.

ESPN affiliate Crimson Confidential reports that Saban and associate coach Sal Sunseri are visiting 2011 QB prospect Christian LeMay. Saban might be hoping that the 6-foot-3, 200-pound pro-style quarterback may replace junior Greg McElroy when he leaves in 2011.

It may be odd that Sunseri is tagging along with Saban, given that he's been rumored to be taking the defensive coordinator job at Florida State. But Sunseri might be the key to luring LeMay to Alabama.

LeMay told Crimson Confidential, "Coach Sunseri is my recruiter, he is a really good guy and is just a really fun guy to talk with. He recruits my area and I've always liked him a lot. I played against Vinnie (Sunseri) my freshman year when I was playing at another school."

According to Scouts, Inc., LeMay is also looking at Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida State. If Sunseri jumps to Florida State before LeMay commits, there might be some interesting drama that follows.
Either ESPN is retarded or LeMay all of a sudden got really interested in Bama.

Sunseri's son Vinnie played on the same team with my brother at Marvin Ridge. I went to all the games and don't remember this kid. I know he might be the best QB next year. Not really sure what this has to do with anything, but just throwing that out there.

Saban may go but I doubt Sunseri is going with him...be kinda stupid considering he could be the guy that pulls him to FSU

I played basketball against KP in high school, he is extremely quick on the basketball court, and has played varsity on their basketball team for 3 years and pretty sure he lettered 4 years in Football. He is short and a little stocky, but he is strong. West Rowan has produced some NFL players, and they are generally year in and year out the best football team in the conference.

Besides that, LeMay was at the Panthers game on Sunday. He participated in a passing challenge at halftime against another QB/WR combo from S.C. The kid from S.C. had the better arm on the 2 throws they made, but LeMay wasn't far behind...

Both the Leak bros came out of NC and I know CJ quit on us and Chris played for UF...

CJ switched positions his Sr year (when he realized qb wasn't going to happen) just to get on the field for UT. To say he quit is wrong

i would love to see lemay come to ut. seems like a more polished pryor. good arm and pass first

He has just recently cut us from his list of potential schools, it is still very early but LeMay will be an EE and says that he has 10 schools that he is looking at. He also said that he hopes to have that number down to 5 by May and then 3 by July, so it seems that UT has got a bunch of ground to make it up.

I would say our chances of getting him are pretty slim.

I was blown away when I found out that he threw 44 TD and only 2 INT's.
