I really wonder if he is waiting for this weekend to commit so he can commit alone with a couple of other recruits. For all we know CDD told them all to wait to make it a big committment weekend and he may have so surprises that we know not of!!!

i dont think dooley plays it that way. theres a number of reasons the kid might not have commited yet. its nothing to worry about IMO.

Dude is a Vol and has been ever since he visited. I'm pretty certain Dooley just isn't letting him commit until he visits for a second time.

This has been discussed before. He wants recruits to be 100% certain that they want to be a Vol and he feels multiple visits are a good way to do that.

Is this true of our current commits tho?-Have they visited multiple times or are we just throwing spaghetti on the wall and hoping it sticks?

I think people are reading too much into martin not committing on his first visit. There may be a number reasons he didn't commit. Hasn't Dooley taken commits after first visits before?

I do believe CDD knows. He is just respecting martin's PR moment. You know, "the big announcement" "fan fare" "the bring the UT hat from under the table and put it on moment"

I don't think its a matter of holding him back. I think CDD knows when martin is going to commit, and wants him to have his big day. I don't think its out of the question that he is trying to get some others to commit at the same time. JMO and guess. :peace2:

Why would it win them a couple if the guy was ready to commit after the first visit?

Right now I dont think this program is in any kind of shape to turn down commitments from big-time prospects no matter when they want to commit.

Because some kids after they commit stop taking visits to other schools altogether.

If a kid wants to commit and Dooley tells him to hold off because he has to take another visit first, he very well could visit other schools during that time frame and find a better place, fit or whatever.
